And just like that, they had managed to get away.

He suckled in a deep breath.

"Damn it!" Roared the Captain as he snatched his hat and reeled back, stopping just short of slapping the piece of fabric to the floor and grabbing his comms instead.

Reporting his encounter briefly to his subordinates, he tasked a detatchment with finding and capturing the two escapees.

With the orders given, he was left alone with his thoughts while battles raged all around him.

His gaze dragged across his own former battlefield as he slowly approached his unconscious Weezing, raising a hand towards Andrew and letting it run across its chimneys with a pink glow...

"..." There was a huge crater around him— an uncharacteristic scar, for a small rural town and its community. The heavy contrast was familiar to him, threatening to drag his mind years back.

But then, his eyes fell upon geometric hole Omega had carved unto the earth, the conspicuous untouched piece of earth left bringing him back.

He allowed himself a small smile at the sight.

"Right."
