Cathrine noticed the uncertainty. And then noticed the distance between the two. For a brief moment, she considered closing the gap. But for once Aki did it first. Cathrine was mildly surprised, in a good way of course.

She felt the weight of Aki’s head upon her shoulder. Cathrine slid her hand around Aki, forming a one-armed embrace as Aki continued to speak.

Aki had made such thoughts known before and tried to shoot them down equally quickly when they pointed toward Cathrine.

“It’s all right. I know people suck.” Cathrine agreed. “Luckily the opinions of strangers don’t matter - ” Cathrine smiled. Knowing very well that she would surely not be inclined to agree.

"I mean, I hope you put my opinion of you higher than the opinion of those naysayers." Cathrine spoke, her voice hoping to bring the woman comfort. "And I find you equally nice and most certainly appealing to my eyes!" Hot... Cathrine found Aki hot. But she did not wish to use such crude wording.

Aki kept her head down as Cat affirmed her about people sucked. But those cheeks quickly tinted bright red as she complimented her. Looking up, she bit her lip. Really, she wanted to kiss her. To shower the woman in so much affection, but she was scared that would make her leave. She was overly clingy, she knew thing, so she didn't want to risk running off someone actually interested in her.

Eyes went from Cat's own eyes, down to her lips, before they averted completely. "Thank you," she whispered finally, nuzzling her cheek into Cat's shoulder. "Maybe you'll find me the best dress for the wedding?" She asked up, hoping to find something perfect for the boys wedding. She needed to ask if they had a theme in mind...

Their Gaze met. Then Aki turned her eyes downward. For a moment she wondered if Aki had thrown embarrassment to the wind and began to check out her chest… But then she realized it was not her figure but her lips Aki was almost hungrily looking at before averting her gaze.

But Cathrine kept it in mind as their conversation continued about the dress. "Definitely!" She spoke with certainty.

"But before we continue this conversation, there is something I need to ask." Cathrine halted the topic of dresses as she leaned in close, so close that she could almost feel the heat in Aki's face. She lowered her voice to a tantalizing, even seductive whisper as she spoke. "Are you just going to keep looking at my lips or are going to kiss me?"

She prayed that she had not misread Aki's signals.

Well shit. She had been caught.

There came the tomato red face. Right along with the ears and neck. Squeaking, she adverted her eyes, then darted them back. Confidence was not something Aki had, much less courage. Wringing her hands in her lap, her eyes were glued to Cat's lips. They looked so nice- well Cat looked nice in general.

Like, absolutely beautiful and Aki felt she would never compare to such an amazing woman. But just to get a little taste... Gulping, she likced her lips, then leaned forward slowly. Inches from her face, she could feel the heat of Cat's face. Along with her own burning red face, she felt like she was going to chicken out- until the Tropius shoved her forward the rest of the way.

Lips locked and Aki squeaked into her, awkwardly not knowing what to do with her hands, setting them gently against Cat's as she sat there. This was her first kiss and she felt she was failing.

Cathrine took the tomato red face as confirmation. She had been right.

Slowly Aki inched closer and closer. So close that there was practically nothing separating them. And then for a moment it seemed Aki was about to Torchic-out of the kiss.

But Tropius seemed to have other plans.

Their lips met. Aki was awkward, inexperienced even. She sensed the nervousness in Aki’s hands and allowed them to join with her own as she took charge of the kiss. Leading Aki’s lips it a mother steady rhythm or at least attempted to do so. But with Aki’s nervousness, Cathrine sure had her work cut out for her.

There was a squeak against Cat's lips. Freezing as her eyes went wide to stare up at her. But they slowly closed, leaning into the kiss to accept it a lot more.

It felt amazing, well Cat was amazing, anyway. Tightening her fingers into Cat's and letting her lead on with it. But of course her nervousness won her over, leaning back from it and her eyes darting back and forth.

"Ah- uh- that... that was nice.." Goodness, Aki.

The kiss came to a halt. Perhaps Aki finally found herself overwhelmed. Cathrine wouldn’t put it past her nor would she blame her for it.

As Aki leaned back, eyes darting about, even speaking a few words of nervousness. Cathrine would do naught but answer her with a pleasant smile. “Yes, it was.” The certainty in her voice would surely leave Aki no room for doubt.

And for a moment Cathrine pondered making some sappy statement about them now being together. But figured even voicing the thought would invite doubt into Aki’s mind. And she did not wish to do so.

But for once Cathrine found herself at an impasse. Uncertain in what she ought to do. Should she continue, ask another Kiss of Aki or perhaps something more? But surely the timid woman would decline given their audience. But at the same time, in action was not a cause she could stay either.

Decisions, decisions.
