He was tending to an impromptu garden growing up the wall of his apartment building and around his balcony now. The Crystal Blooms were simply much too pretty for him to let them wither on his sight.

But— he knew nothing about gardening, and couldn't well annoy every time he needed assistance. So, he needed something or someone who, provided it was taught the proper routine, could look after them for him.

That is to say, he needed a grass type pokemon to do his gardening for him.

And both of his Tsareenas were being much too sassy for him to ask them.

... That wasn't a grass-type.

"Hello, little one." Gwyar said softly as he knelt before the adorable, tiny bug, gently reaching out to rub the shy thing's head. "I won't hurt you, don't worry."

He wasted a couple of minutes playing around with the Snom before reluctantly rising back to his full height, almost not wanting to leave the little guy behind.

Oh well. Back to gardener hunting.

This was a grass type pokemon, but it was a little too young to be left in charge of gardening duty...

Cute, though.

"My, are all the pokemon here cuties like you?" The man asked with a smile as he picked up the Chespin in his hands, rubbing at its chin playfully and drawing a couple of giggles out of the poke-toddler.

After having his fill on cuteness, the man set the Chespin down before moving on. Glancing at his watch, he hummed. His schedule was busy; he couldn't afford to search for much longer today.

Hopefully the next one would be an appropriate one.

"If you aren't the very image of an ideal rose." He said with a smile as a Roselia drew near, having perhaps heard him and the chespin from earlier speak.

She truly was a well groomed Roselia; it was almost hard to believe such a pokemon was truly from the wild. A natural, perhaps?

Crouching before it, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a pokeball before holding it out towards her.

"If you aren't too invested in whatever your current circumstances are..." He began, smiling. "How about joining me?"
