Family: Aubre comes from a long line of well-known trainers and politicians. Her father was a grass-type gym leader and her mother a Pokemon coordinator from Kalos. Her two uncles (one a higher-up in a less-than-legal organization) and her father do not get along, so her main familial contact was with her cousins and aunts. After adulthood and schooling, she married a man by the name of Leon. They now have a young daughter together. [break][break]

Pokemon Aubre was raised to think of Pokemon as family. Her two starters grew with her, read with her, and slept in her room. They are also capable of writing, though not speech. She sees them as equal to humanity and tends not to judge them by appearance Typical "girly" weaknesses, like bug types, do not bother her in the slightest. However, an incident with a Houndoom (which left her with an eternity of pain and heavy scarring) has made her unable to tolerate both canine and fire types. They trigger her PTSD. For that reason, the clinic requires you to call ahead and will recommend you to another doctor if need be.

Aubre's childhood was a happy and middle-class one. She was raised surrounded by Pokemon in Galar.
Her starters were given to her at the age of five and were a Mantyke and a Helioptile. They were named Evelyn (Eve) and Alastor (Al).
Excelled in school and was eventually accepted into a school meant to foster future gym leaders, but seeing one of her Pokemon injured (a Swellow) turned her off from a life of battling.
Met an older classmate by the name of Leon. The pair of them became close. She thought they were friends. He believed otherwise.
While walking from school to home one night, Aubre was attacked by a Houndoom. The fact that the dog was familiar did not click at the time. She was rushed to the hospital with multiple third-degree burns. Her Mantine did not make it out of the battle.
During the stay in the hospital, she and Leon bonded further. But her condition and resulting disfigurement (and disability) led her to become withdrawn and paranoid. Leon was jailed in the aftermath for negligent handling of a Pokemon.
After a long period of darkness (and at least one suicide attempt), Aubre and therapy reached a breakthrough. She reminded herself that the Mantine would not wish her to waste her gifts. With that done, she enrolled in college to pursue a degree in Pokemon medicine. It was here that she and Leon reunited.
Accepted a marriage proposal from him roughly two years after graduation and moved into his family home. After a few years of trying, the pair were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Michaela Settentrone. Things were going well until a sudden attack left their home in shambles.
During the aftermath, it came to light that her "perfect" husband was no businessman. He was a member of a longstanding crime family, and his work had put them all in danger.
After arriving in Hoenn, Aubre joined an existing practice in Slateport City. She began to offer discounted and free services. Though they live in the same home, her husband and her have not seen eye to eye in quite some time.
