at a glance, in passing, or through a window- catching a glimpse of him is like a moth man sighting— extensively rare, rarely believed, and probably at night. The gremlin known as an Emerson is believed to only leave the safety of their dwellings when the food has run low and they are in dire need. Snacks— the best way to lure him, and successfully doing so yields a lil fella, no more than 5’5, skinny as a pixi-stik and swimming in a way-too-big sweatshirt. The hood may or may not be up, covering tousled red hair that he forgot to brush in the frenzy of his snack hunt. Startled to have been caught, wide rusty-copper eyes peer out from under the half-hearted shroud, and a flush of crimson follows before the apologies babble free and he scurries back from whence he came—but not without grabbing the offered takeout or chippies first.
