Sort of away from his usual haunts, Lam mostly figures that, if anything, the experience and familiarizing with a difference space will be useful for future purposes. Plus he, supposes he can’t have solely aviary sorts of Pokémon. Particularly if he’s going to take the challenge circuit more seriously.[break][break]

Noodle, of course, doesn’t answer and only blinks up at Lam with wide, blithe eyes. Not a single thought in the little guy’s head. His altaria finally hits the ground, and Lam slides off her back as his shinx hops down as well. After giving her an appreciative scratch under her beak, Lam fishes an incense from his bag and makes sure it’s properly activated before the three venture forward.

As they traverse the snowy, white landscape, the scent of warm, baked apples and cinnamon nearly stops Lam in his tracks. An appletun wanders out and it’s so cute, Lam wants to just stop right there and give it’s cute little snout a scratch.[break][break]

But that would defeat the purpose of the trip all the way out here, right? If he jumped on catching the first creature to cross his path? As if sensing the risk of being left behind, the Appletun’s sweet scent seems to strengthen, and Lam turns to look back at the pastry dragon with a puffed bottom lip and the saddest puppy eyes. Okay, yeah no way, can he be blamed? Happily, he trots up to the appletun who waddles closer, ready to receive attention.[break][break]

“You are just too cute,” he coos at it, stooped down to give it the proper pets it demands. “you’re like a built-in lizard puppy air-freshener combo. I can’t say no to you.” That said, the appletun is invited to continue on the walk with the rest of his posse. They can still explore until his toes get too cold.
