MARCH UPDATE

With the way Fritz seemed bundled up, one would think he expected the big freeze to hit then and there. He pulled his hat on a little tighter and adjusted his scarf just a smidge. People talked about the beauty of winter, but he saw no beauty in the way the winter winds cut through him like a knife. Unlike its trainer, the Primeape of the party simply marched along, almost as if it were fueled solely by its rage. Fritz envied it a fair deal. They took a deep breath and trudged along.

"You want to slow down a bit? I get your anger probably keeps you warm but christ, I've got the body of a twink and we don't tend to keep warm."

Fritz? Complaining? Not a shocker whatsoever. And as night approached, it only got colder.

At the sight of the unfamiliar avian, his Primeape charged forward, only for Fritz to grab the headstrong pokemon by its arm. That didn't do much, so the blonde resorted to holding the creature back by practically clinging to it. Fritz himself didn't pose too much weight for the Primeape to handle, but at least it slowed the ape down. In the midst of all the commotion, the wild Bombirdier flew off, causing the ranger to scowl at the pokemon he practically clung to.

"You know that thing would have beat your ass, right? Type advantage and all that."

The Primeape gave a snort to show that it didn't seem too concerned at the type matchup. Now that Fritz had the displeasure of losing his first catch, he stood up and dusted himself off. At least his frustration with the rambunctious fighting type at his side helped to make him forget about how cold the weather had gotten. After a moment, his partner gave a huff as almost as if in apology.

"It's whatever I guess, just try not to scare off the next one, would you?"

While the grass type that popped its head out seemed charming enough, it seemed his Primeape had no interest in it. Perhaps it didn't view the Lilligant as a worthy opponent? With that in mind, Fritz had to bid the creature adieu. Though once they broke away from the grass type pokemon, his Primeape opted to charge forward as though in search of a tougher opponent. Ever the exasperated trainer, Fritz jogged after his loose Primeape.

And like that, his Primeape stormed towards the Spearow and seemed ready to throw hands. It did for a moment while Fritz struggled to catch up to the fighting type. The Spearow pecked away at the Primeape in a repeated, violent fashion and Fritz could only look at his poor partner with absolutely zero sympathy. If anything, Fritz flashed the pokemon a roll of his eyes as if saying 'I told you so.' He lifted up the pokeball belonging to his Primeape and drew it back in. He waved a hand and flashed an awkward smile at the ruffled up Spearow.

"Sorry about that, friend. I'll just be on my way."

And with that, he hustled right on.
