As a ranger it isn’t uncommon for Lux to appear in places where others needed his help. The Pokemon Center in Fortree City is no different. More injured Pokemon than there are helping hands. Tragic, but it's the reality of the situation. And so, Lux can be seen assisting trainers and Pokemon alike. His Audino is nearby providing aid alongside the hard-working Chanseys. [break][break]
After helping out with returning Pokemon to their trainers, Lux takes a much needed (small) break on the nearby bench. Perfect opportunity to try and chat him up![break][break]

Initially, all Makoto had been here for was a check-up for their pokemon. A quick look-over, to make sure that everyone was healthy as could be, and to give them a chance to rest after the trek between Fortree and Lilycove.

However, when they had come into the building, they were met with the sight of people hard at work - a seeming sudden influx of patients that the staff were having a hard time keeping up with. And well... Whilst most Rocket members (at least, in their mind,) would've looked over such troubles... Makoto would waste no time in joining in in lending a hand.

They might've not been a Ranger or Nurse, but they knew their way around helping patch up injured pokemon and people from their time on the streets. It was amidst this work however, that they'd notice that Kama - their sneasel, who had been helping cut bandages and carry supplies around - had wandered off. "Kama?" Makoto spoke as they straightened up, glancing around - though their zoroark, Tsume, would point them in the right direction.

Kama, being the social sneasel that he was, was now approaching Lux. Though he was slow and careful - as if to avoid startling anyone - it was hard to not notice him, given the little cowboy hat and 'booties' that he seemed to be wearing, the blunted spurs clinking with each step. Upon coming near, he'd raise a paw and chitter in greeting to the Ranger and audino both. The duo seemed friendly!

"There you are, Kama," Makoto would approach as well not long after to retrieve Kama, picking him up in their arms. "I'm sorry - Kama here likes to wander off sometimes, but he's friendly. I hope he wasn't bothering you?"

Though seemingly appearing out of nowhere, immediately Lux takes to the friendly Sneasel. He was never one to turn away a curious Pokemon. Lux even takes the time to meet the Pokemon at eye-level. Plus, their western get-up amuses him. Was he a contest Pokemon or just liked to dress up? Either way, this semi-stressful day has taken a turn for the better. [break][break]
Audino trills happily and socializes with the Sneasel, right up until it’s scooped into his trainer’s arms. Lux stands and smiles at the trainer.[break][break]
“Oh, no worries at all! He wasn’t a bother. In fact, he’s very friendly.” Audino agrees as she nods. Lux smiles and pets the adorably pink Pokemon atop the head. “I’m Lux and this is my little helper, Audino. Sorry it’s a bit busy today. Oh. Is there anything I can help you with?”[break][break]

At Lux's confirmation that Kama wasn't being a bother, Makoto smiled gently and nodded back in understanding. Lux seemed plenty friendly - which was plenty welcome, given how you could never predict how someone might respond to a surprise encounter.

"It's nice to meet you, Lux - I'm Makoto, and like I mentioned, this here is Kama." Makoto introduced themself and their Sneasel in turn - carrying him in one arm so that they could scritch him under the chin, making him chitter happily. "It's quite alright - I had originally come here to get my pokemon regular check-up and some rest. But seeing how busy the pokecenter is, I thought I'd lend a hand."

Kama would wiggle a bit in Makoto's arms - a prompt for them to set him down, that they would happily oblige now that they knew his presence was welcome. Once back on his feet, he'd return to socializing with Lux's audino, happy as a plum all the whilst. Tsume would lean against a wall nearby, idly watching them - though the zoroark otherwise appeared uninterested in socializing.

But, speaking of how busy things were... Makoto couldn't help a hue of concern. "I'm guessing you work here, or you're volunteering like I have been?" They questioned, adding "Do you know if something happened, for things to get so busy here?" It could simply be a thing of supply versus demand, Makoto knew - that more people just happened to need help today by pure circumstance. But still, it was a valid concern to have all the same.
