It sounds silly, but he’s on a pidgey hunt. He’d been here with Rook before, and had had plenty of luck finding all sorts of different birds. So surely he could find one of the most common songbirds out here right? It’d be crazy not to think so.[break][break]

so while Ikarus Rook was out dumpster diving/garage saling and his brother, was doing…whatever it is Leif Logan does in his downtime, Lam is here. Looking for pidgey. Or something better, if it shows up, but he’s really got that sight set on the little bird. It’s a classic, and it’s a shame he doesn’t already have one, to be quite honest.

The pidgey hunt is derailed when a weird lookin’ tromps out. A quick glance and then another at his dex confirms it to be the evolved stage of the other Pokémon he’d caught here last time. Scovillain, what a strange little joker. Lam remembers how much Rook enjoyed the capsakid and figures this is kismet.[break][break]

“Ziti, you’re up!” he chimes, and the talonflame swoops into action. She sends a scorching blaze of flame at the dual type, still susceptible to the fire. The FLARE BLITZ lands and Lam sends a pokeball after, ready to bring the weird dude home to present to Rook, because it’s way weirder than its prior stage.
