Mars hadn’t had much of a chance to do much work with Team Rocket’s newest Beast (beyond their work during the Mount Pyre assault back in November, that is), so naturally, that must be remedied. It’s not a particularly difficult job in his opinion, but the importance of it does not lie in its difficulty.

There seem to be no pokémon by his side, but given the fact that he’s here as the blond persona he’s known to use in public and not as Martín del Mar, it can safely be assumed that there’s at least one hidden Zorua or Zoroark.

Unlike her partner for the night, she’d had to make the arduous trek out there, which had afforded her time to think (much to her dismay). So, when the man appeared out of thin air, she was feeling mildly annoyed with herself. Even if she was not the type to enjoy the idea of teleportation or anything that took her feet off the ground (or the fabric of reality), she was still a little sour about it.

Lilycove was far from her ideal location, which might have been ironic as the beachy setting was probably a dream for most people. She was born in Unova and anything that didn’t remind her of the same filthy-mouthed, rundown, greasy food, raticate-infested streets as the big city — wasn’t good enough for her. “A little too warm for my liking, but the buzzard is a fan of the local cuisine.” The corviknight had spent the last hour rummaging through trash bins. Marza had decided to let him have his fun.
