his dogs start to bark loudly at the presence of the fairy-type. it wakes kyle up from his nap and forces him to go out of his house.

he sees all six of his mightyena running around aimlessly in circles as the slurpuff approaches. with their heads up high, they instead yap incessantly instead of actually solving the problem. they may look cute and silly from an outsider's point of view, but kyle simply looks at them with disdain.

kyle instead turns to his venusaur, who hung around the garden for entire days. if he was to silence his dogs, he supposed he has to deal with the problem.

"venusaur, sludge bomb."

the grass-type moves out of the plot of land reserved for him and moves in to aim his attack. the blob of toxic hits the fairy-type and explodes upon contact, drenching it in sludge. it doesn't appear to budge from its spot after the attack, however. kyle scratches his head at the conclusion of the encounter.

instead of worrying about its unconscious body, kyle takes the quickest approach that comes to mind and decides to capture it. that way, its body wouldn't be litering his garden.

he is brought outside by the incessant barking of his dogs. one quick glance at the state of his garden quickly gets kyle to raise his voice.

"aero!"

a few of his dogs stand a distance away from the fossil pokemon. the aerodactyl was hunched over a body, wings folded, as his beak stops to tear and rend away from the flesh of his prey. the stench of blood reeked, its smell being spread by the gentle verdanturf breeze.

it probably disturbed his dog team's suppressed predatory tendencies that he worked so hard to keep it from happening.

"stop that. i feed you everyday. what more do you want?"

he walks over to his aerodactyl, shooing him away from his food. it tries to rebel, but a single stare from his trainer was enough for it to turn submissive and fly away. leaving kyle with the mutilated body of the raticate, he pinches his nose as he muses on what to do with its carcass.

i'll probably just use this as fertilizer... or something.

kyle has a mightyena out coincidentally when the bewear comes out. a single instruction comes out to clear the nuisance out of the way.

"roar."

the mightyena roars.

the wild pokemon is scared and runs away like a binch.

if he knew a spinda would eventually wander to his garden, he wouldn't have spent the time hunting for one. he hasn't even showcased his spinda in a match yet.

he supposed that there's nothing to be done about it though. the invader could have been any other pokemon, and kyle would have dealt with it the same way, as with every intruder.

kyle turns to the mightyena beside him. they share a glance before he issues a move.

"roar."

the mightyena roars.
