Although heated places weren't his forte, heat was just what his team needed. The area held a certain je ne sais quoi for fire forged pokemon and even some that held plenty of tricks up their sleeves in the fashion of varied toxins. His Drakloak sat ready to attack if and when something chose to pop out at the two.

While the Ponyta seemed like a promising addition to his team, he felt that perhaps he could delve deeper in his search. For now, he gestured for his Drakloak to sink its fangs into the fire type. Quite literally, it seemed. The Drakloak used bite to attack the Ponyta, and after the bite caused the creature to flinch, Drakloak followed it up with a dragon pulse to finish it off. With the attack finished, the two continued onward.

What a strange creature. It almost looked like a sentient vehicle part. He held a hand out to motion for his Drakloak to wait. As the creature began to speed towards them, Gaultier drew back a pokeball and flung it directly at the creature. After a few shakes, the pokeball gave a single click to signal that it had secured the pokemon. Gaultier took a few steps forward and swiped the ball up and carefully studied the ball. Perhaps this pokemon had some relation to the Rotom line? Sentient electronics had been the Rotom's specialty, perhaps this pokemon had something with car parts. Nonetheless, he was satisfied with his catch and decided to call it a day.
