She fights, but eventually surrenders. Even as Freya turn limp in her embrace, Eva’s tight grip doesn’t falter. It’s secure, in more way than just the strength of it. Daringly, she lets a hand gently stroke Freya’s back as she settles against Eva’s collarbone, the heat of her breath tickling the Professor’s fair skin.

Eva leaves herself vulnerable. Freya could lunge, bite, kick, pummel her straight into the ground and Eva couldn’t do anything to stop her.

“No, you haven’t,” she whispers into the woman’s ear, “Rayquaza still needs you,” the balance, the equilibrium, the unrelenting storm to contrast Eva’s gentle breeze. One cannot exist without the other as both have their place in the balance of this world.

she could do damage. she could sink her teeth into eva's neck and rip gore from her body. her own neck tingles, pinprick reminders of a pain long gone. she bares her teeth, but it's to drawn in and let out another whistling hiss. her steady, almost-gasping breaths are the only thing keeping her from breaking down. 

defenseless. backed into a corner of her own making. a sharp tongue is not in her toolbelt right now so she goes to her old friend, violence, but even that is halfhearted. instead of striking into the woman's defenses, she takes an opportunity of her slight laxing and shoves herself away. 

her arms come up around herself protectively, covering herself in an embrace to rid the warmth of eva's own. 

"nothfing needs me. donchu get it? noone nees anyone? we die by the'undreds and th'world keeps turning! but fohhhk, ahleast we're still here, righ?"

she sways. spits. "go home while is still here, eva."
