"you don't feed protein powder to micah, do you? i'm sure you musn't be that lacking in meat ... unless?" paling drastically and dramatically, pippa pondered this out loud.[break]

For a moment, he felt himself recoil inwardly. Pippa's comment had been the proverbial straw which broke the camel's back. Perhaps, when he and Micah had the time, he'd voice his insecurities a bit. But outwardly, he gave a confused grin to the pink haired businesswoman before he laughed almost hysterically.

"Bro, no, no! We got plenty of protein!" he insisted. "I mean we aren't in the vegetarian lifestyle like Flynt so we're eating steak, y'dig?"

For a moment, he stopped to look at the Beedrill and seemed surprised. In his stupor, he spoke out loud.

"Bro, I thought the covid wasps went back home or whatever."

Smoliver didn't seem too gung-ho about the bug type, even less enthusiastic about the Carkol. Danny picked up the olive-shaped pokemon and placed him on his shoulder before he gave Smoliver a comforting smile.

"But my dude, you're talking about your body being the only protein Flynt needs. Is... Are you guys secretly cannibals? Shit's WILD, bro."

"oh you're so right. i worry about my poor vegetarian baby. he must be lacking some kind of vitamin - maybe vitamin me!" despite the corniness of her thought, she didn't flinch. she was missing flynt heavily and it showed in her constant focus on bringing the conversation back to the topic of his wellbeing or his existence in general.[break]
"if he so wished, he could sup on any part of me," pippa said with her whole chest, her own pokemon not even registering the existence of the beedrill or the other pokemon that simply rolled by, unbothered. she hadn't noticed the impact of her words and likely wouldn't for time to come, not really particularly finding there any need for her to do so. she cared for micah and danny, but her interpersonal skills were mediocre at best when it came to people she wasn't ready to bed. ever since flynt's involvement with her, she had been left egocentric and willingly ignorant. "so if that time does come, i hope you remember me fondly."[break]
