There were such a variety of pokemon out here, it seemed - Ettie had seen mammalian pokemon, ghost-types, and the like the other night. But tonight, she'd see as a gardevoir walked past - holding a couple bags of items in either hand, with some logo that Ettie couldn't quite interpret on the front. She was at least able to recognize that it was the same as one that she'd seen on a sign for some store - but reading things was still something she was struggling at.

What was the gardevoir carrying with them, she wondered?

As Ettie watched the psychic-type though, they'd notice her presence - and glancing over, cocked their head in curiosity. It wasn't hard for the gardevoir to guess at what had Ettie's attention though - given the species' usual sensitivity to emotions and thoughts - and smiling gently, they'd wave and pull out an apple, offering it to Ettie.

The wildchild's eyes lit up at this - ohhhh, the gardevoir was carrying some food, then? Smiling at the offer, she'd carefully accept the apple. "Thank you!" She chirped, putting the fruit in her bag for later. The pack - Anne especially - would love this!

In response, the gardevoir nodded with a warmer smile of their own - before continuing onward down the empty street.

Left to her own devices once more, Ettie would wander through the city once more. Which, it didn't long until she'd find something new to catch her attention - namely, peeking around a corner to see a drakloak floating along, with a sleepy dreepy atop their head. Indeed, night was still very much the time of ghost-types.

Ettie's thoughts drifted to that of Sidewinder - Josh's dragapult - as she gazed upon the ghostly dragon. It was pretty easy to see they were in the same evolutionary family as Sidewinder - although the drakloak was perhaps a pre-evolution, given the smaller size, simpler shape, and the fact that they had only one dreepy, rather than two.

As the two ghostly pokemon disappeared through a wall though, Ettie would continue her explorations.

Last but not least though, would be a Spritzee - though Ettie found the little one hidden in an alcove in an older building that made up the city - curled up in a gap in the wall, fast asleep. The wildchild couldn't help a soft giggle at the cute sight - and would leave a couple of berries next to the fairy bird's nest, before moving on.

Wandering through the city was certainly a fascinating experience - and Ettie couldn't help but wonder what else they may find out here, another night...
