Unfortunately, there are no other scapegoats in Silph's garden. The Bounsweet is alone and treated as such by Fernando's Pokemon. Eventually, the trainer returns for his own personal privacy and cleans the ground by reeling the injured Pokemon into the safety of an empty Pokeball.

"Good work." Considering the little mishap not too long ago, Fernando's more prone to congratulate his Pokemon on a job well done.

Fernando’s time is too limited to spend visiting his vacation home. Instead, he opts to use it as one of the few testing grounds for his updated Silph Scope. The basic motion sensor detects something passing through its infrared beam before triggering an automated Pokeball dispenser somewhere within his green house.

“Identifying intruder.”

His Quagsire, a Pokemon relatively untouched as of late, is released within his green house. The Pokemon ends up waddling outside to confront the would-be intruder. By now, the Silph Scope has already identified the species as a ‘Kabuto’, calculating the best method for the Quagsire to handle the opponent.

The answer is easy enough for the Quagsire to come up with on its own. Just blast the damn bug with enough water to subdue it. However, the crux of implementing the Silph Scope is to automate the trainer portion of the battle. While the machine runs through various algorithms and possibilities, the Quagsire thumps its tail in impatience.

“Battle Routine Set.”

The familiar command perks the Pokemon straight into action.

“Execute! MUDDY WATER!”

A torrent of high pressure water mixed with local fertilizer pelt the rock solid carapace of the Kabuto. It ends up knocked onto its back and utterly helpless as it tries to adjust itself with AQUA JET. With little need for further command, the Quagsire repeatedly bashes the small crab with its tail until it stops moving.

Eventually, a Pokeball is brought out to clean up the unconscious Pokemon.




The data is registered and rerouted back to Fernando’s personal computer as another piece of his puzzle.
