She struggles to connect with others and feels isolated, but she makes no effort to correct her self-isolating habits. Pressing her face up against the glass of life is very much how she lives: watching– yearning– but not participating.

She deals with her loneliness and inability to sleep by being an obsessed workaholic. Talking to her about her niche, ghost Pokémon research, is one of the few ways to get her animated and talking.

An independent researcher currently based out of Lilycove City. Currently focusing on what attracts Ghost-types to certain areas like Mt. Pyre as well as acquiring grants for her work.

Jennail's research aims to explain the unique properties of Ghost Pokémon to not only gain new understandings of them but to also de-stigmatize the misunderstood critters. Jennail's most popular works were about directly disproving myths and rumours about specific Ghost Pokémon, while her favourite (unfinished) paper was on the procreation of Ghost 'mons in Kanto. Of course, all of this work was under her old name.
