an electric-type...

those were hazards when near bodies of water. he doesn't want to assume why the pokemon was there, but the best he could do was to run away. he already was submerged in water, and the last thing he wants is for it to get near him.

scampering across the shore as waves crash on his legs, kyle tried to escape the electric-type as fast as he could. the beach was large enough anyways that maybe it would go off and put its attention somewhere.

if he could, he could have always beaten it up with one of his pokemon, but using a hand to take a pokeball out and speak out a command was too much work.

he eventually got too far from the electric-type. taking a glance behind him, it seemed as if it was practically never there. at least he won't have to worry about getting burns from electrical shorts.

he continues to take a walk along the shore. it's kinda scenic if he thought about it. too bad that there was no one else to look at how amazing he is in contrast with the background.

there was a wild pokemon on a rock that he passed by, but it seemed docile enough to ignore him, and so kyle ignored the wild pokemon back. it wasn't like it was something that he would have wanted anyways.

having been on the slateport beach multiple times before the invasion happened, it does not feel the same without the crowds filling up the shore. he wonders if rockets do have their own beach days sometimes.

he sees a tympole struggle along the sand, flopping helplessly.

kyle goes from the waters towards the beach until he meets the small pokemon. it doesn't seem to care about the predicament it was in, oblivious to the fact that there would be pokemon looking for easy prey such as itself.

feeling bad, kyle pushes the tympole back to the water with his foot. the slimy sensation of the touch of its skin against his brought a chill, though it did not stop him from doing a random act of kindness.

once it reached the water, the tympole managed to swim away further from the shore. kyle wondered if it's gonna get eaten by some sharpedo or something along the way.

he proceeds to head back home, noting the darkening skies.
