A new class had just graduated from Flying Sword School's beginners course. Since they were short on manpower, Finn had to step in to examine their sparring - every single one of their two hundred students. By the end of the week, Finn's body was shattered. He needed an escape and the first place he could think of was Lavaridge's famous hot spring spa village.

And since he was in the area, why not check out the nearby Meteor Falls too?

Finn always found this place intriguing. The energy felt different; the rock seemed heavier, denser than usual. The whole area seemed to buzz with a force in its molecules that felt just out of this world. Finn stood in a huge yawning cavern, so tall and wide it hosted a waterfall. The air danced on Finn's skin. He felt like he could do anything - scale a rock wall? Go for a swim? He was dressed the part, too. Each breath stoked his appetite for adventure.

To be honest, he was… losing hope that a certain Pokémon (well, certain several Pokémon) would be appearing in the Safari Zone (he’d already gone there and found two of the three, but not the one he really absolutely wanted) so he’d decided to make the trip, all the way out here—

Oh dear deer. Did he have enough—yes, he did, he made sure to bring enough Pokéballs just in case—

The peace and quiet would be shattered by a circling figure—and if one were to look up, the circling figure would be a blue-plumed Braviary, coming in for a landing with someone on his back—a very windswept companion, hair blown all over the place but looking fresh as a daisy at the same time.

“Whoa, Kyouya, I just—oh, hello!”

A powerful gust blew Finn's perfectly spiked hair into a mess, but Finn wasn't mad at all. Looking upwards, his eyes half shut to shield him from the whipping wind, he marvelled at the Braviary descending upon the space.

Finn whistled in admiration. "Nice bird!"

"My birds are back home, but I like a good dive through the sky too." Finn enjoyed a good dive through the sky on the backs of their bigger birds. Flying Sword School, as its name suggested, hosted a good number of Flying-types. He appreciated a strong, well-raised raptor. Its strength spoke to the quality of its trainer, too.
