it was time to grow, expand, explode. although it was nice to be buried in a mound of houndooms, even lorelei understood that too much of a good thing could be her downfall. the blood-tinted houndoom following her cared to disagree, but pokemon couldn't talk so what could it even say to change her trainer's mind? [break]

voltorb was capable of being a good addition to lorelei's team. she was planning on how to best use this explosion-happy little 3d circle while ordering her houndoom to give a fire blast which was followed by the soft 'tink' of a safari ball against the voltorb's head (neck? torso?).[break]

now this was a necessity. the dragon typed apple pokemon would make an excellent addition. hopefully not overbaked by a fire blast, lorelei threw one of the safari balls she had left in an attempt to catch the applin.[break]

and there it was - the promised one. like some rare spectacle, lorelei couldn't help but marvel at the fuecoco before summoning down a dragon hammer from her favorite houndoom onto it. with that, she threw a safari ball due to not expecting it to be able to tank a dragon move even if it came from a pokemon that wasn't dragon-typed.[break]
