GENERAL INFORMATION

THE INFLUENCE OF CERTAIN ULTRA BEAST have proven to be invasive and life altering. Pokemon subjected to their influence have been recognized to undergo changes at a cellular level. This has resulted in changes to their abilities, moves, and the way they function. Only a few instances of these changes have occurred up until the Ultra Beast War/Three Day War.

During the Ultra Beast War, several individuals may have encountered these 'SHADOW POKEMON' on the war front. While buzz may circulate online and between people, there are still a lot of unknown behind this phenomenon.

Staff may prove players with SHADOW POKEMON when certain IC criteria are met. The most common condition was for a Pokemon to survive a chance encounter with a mod-spawned Ultra Beast. Due to the current plot, the chance to encounter such opportunities are postponed.

CHARACTERISTICS

Shadow pokemon are characterized by a few common traits such as:

• the pokemon will become more aggressive and violent.
• they will no longer be able to MEGA EVOLVE.
• they will no longer be able to EVOLVE unless MAX HONEY is used on them.
• they will no longer be able to FORM CHANGE unless explicitly stated.
• they will no longer be able to change their ABILITY if replaced with a SHADOW ABILITY.

CURRENTLY, trainers can receive SHADOW POKEMON through particular events. Though they do not possess special abilities, they have learned SHADOW MOVES. Learning a SHADOW MOVE makes a Pokemon who was originally not a Shadow Pokemon into a Shadow Pokemon.[break][break]

to inflict massive damage, the user burns itself out. after using this move, the user will no longer be FIRE type. they instead gain DARK typing.

the user howls loudly to raise the spirit of itself and allies. this raises their ATTACK and SPECIAL ATTACK. this effect will be stronger on pokemon that SUBMIT to the user as their ALPHA.

pokemon with the SUBMISSIVE status cannot attack the user. this status effect lasts until they are returned.

enemy pokemon will be INTIMIDATED, lowering their ATTACK and SPECIAL ATTACK.
