The ground degrades under corrosive duress and those around them find safety in the trees above. However, only so much of the foliage proves to be a suitable perch. @kingsley finds unstable footing against exposed bark and the branch he clings to snaps. His life line flashes crumbles before his very eyes and he falls into the toxic spillage, splashing in an acid that eats into his pants and onto exposed flesh. Thankfully, he hastily latches onto the trunk, clawing his way back up and out of further harm but the searing pain has already taken its toll. [break][break]

Those that find safety also find a chance to attack. The Nihilego has a moment of weakness from expunging the remainder of its toxins and the bold are quick to pounce. For such an immovable object to finally break spells a chance of victory and the dry husk finds itself crumbling under the pressure of twin HYDRO PUMPS. Water erodes at the glass but it is the PSYCHIC blast that finds purchase, causing a crack to form and cascade against the Pokemon's crystal frame. It all culminates into the EARTHQUAKE closing shop when the protrusions pierce the cracking Pokemon, the sound of shattered glass pops off repeatedly as the Pokemon collapses into itself. And still, somehow, the Pokemon finds the strength to retreat into the wormhole as it powders into nothingness. About half of the Pokemon manages to enter the wormhole before the tunnel abruptly closes. The other half of the Nihilego is cut clean off, finally succumbing into a pile of purple stain glass as the Ultra Beast finally dies. [break][break]

Somewhere else, the Cosmog is captured and exchanges hands. Those with the right connection and plenty of coin, will find themselves rewarded with another piece of the Ultra Beast puzzle. [break][break]
