Rustboro City. Not exactly a place he frequented often without purposes, and today would be no different.

Dressed the part of a hooligan in all black, and a mask in similar shades hiding his face. He gazed upon the towering Rustboro Gym. Closed for the day. No lights in any windows as far as he had seen.

He looked upon the spray can in his hand before he began to shake it. Pondering what exactly he ought to write. He barely knew anything about this CIAN MAHER guy. But he’d been told to send the traitor a reminder that Rocket wasn’t done with him yet.

And so he began to let the paint fly from the can upon one of the Gym’s walls, writing slurs and other such things.

By his side a bored and Aggressive looking Milktank stood watch. Unfortunately boredom got the better of it, and it grabbed the nearest rock and threw it toward a window with the intention of breaking it. And probably alerting the whole lot to what he was doing.

unfortunately for this GOON, rustboro's weather gym is well-equipped with some of the finest technology when it comes to surveillance. he had it upgraded right after bryan delarosa's attack which only happened a few months ago.[break][break]

he's surprised there have not been more attempts at his life.[break][break]

The spray-can came to an abrupt halt as the sound of broken glass shrieked. He shot a glare toward the Milktank who feigned ignorance, though it was clear it had been the culprit.

But before Gerald could even start on berating the bovine Pokémon. A head poked through.

“Tch.”

Gerald recognized the face well enough.

The Miltank was taken by mild surprise and looked to its trainer for orders.

Gerald did not answer Cian’s question. No, he turned to his Pokémon and commanded “Rough him up!” But he clearly forgot that most, if not all, of Miltank’s moves were close quarter attacks.

And so Miltank resorted to the only thing it could. Aiming its udder at the Cian’s head poking out the window, it fired the strongest blast of Miltank milk it could produce.

for a second, cian considers just taking the blast of miltank milk to his face because how bad could it really be? it's free milk. but he pulls his head back, avoiding the stream.[break][break]

vandalism is excusable but attacking a gym leader? not so much.[break][break]

with a nod, his cacturne slinks out the window and slams its arm into the side of the building. GRASS KNOTS sprout, looking to catch them.

Gerald was quick to jump away and put some distance between him and the vines sprouting from the wall.

But the Miltank was less inclined to dodge and more inclined to take the fight to the Cacturne.

An orange aura cowered the Miltank as it tried to counter the GRASS KNOT by slamming into it with HIGH HORSEPOWER straight for the vines and the wall they sprouted from.

he has to slap a hand to the wall to steady himself.[break][break]

it looks like they have their work cut out for them.[break][break]

quickly recovering, the cacturne tries to close the distance to throw its NEEDLE ARM into the miltank.

Gerald’s Miltank slammed into the wall, shaking the very foundation of the building.

Gerald came to a halt in his attempt to escape, turning his attention to what was happening. “What are you doing?” He exclaimed angrily at the bovine-Pokémon. They weren't here to fight, just give the place a bit of a makeover.

Distracted by its trainer’s voice the Miltank found itself assaulted by a prickly armed Cacturne.

In close proximity Miltank had but one action it could take. And so it began to PLAY ROUGH the Cacturne like only a Miltank could.

Gerald allowed small curses to leave as he saw the Cacturne gaining the upper-hand with the battle.

Miltank took the POISON JABS like a champ, but felt the poison of its namesake act quickly. Miltank mooed aggressively as it’s body was surrounded by an orange aura. Miltank tried to use the HIGH HORSEPOWER enhancement of its entire body to throw the Cacturne away. Though with the poison quickly weakening it.

Seeing how the Miltank fought with such gusto, Gerald felt a momentary hope of success. And so he cockily replied with. “Do you really think I’d tell you if I were?” While his mission had been to remind Cian that he was a traitor and Team Rocket hadn’t forgotten. The mission statement never said he had to admit to it if questioned.

His hand moved to his pocket intent on retrieving another Pokémon to prepare just in case.
