Far deeper, away from the light, and wandering in complete darkness was another; accompanied by a Lunatone happily floating about. All it produced every now and then was a zinging echo, alerting its partner of what laid in her way.

It had been ages since Kyrenai had trained this way, but with the way her thoughts had been occupied, how certain things haunted her into uncertainty, she'd found it time. Her skills had been numbing -at least in her eyes- and she all but liked it. So she would go back to the shadows, and learn to walk them blindly.

She had a flashlight with her in case things didn't pan out the way she'd intended, mayhaps the sole constant in her life right now, but was not intent on using it until that very moment.

Jaci suddenly turned, whirring loudly as its eyes glowed red. Kyrenai perked to hear the echoes slowly -almost rhythmically- growing closer; and before long the irregular flashing of a light announced the arrival of another. Kyrenai covered her eyes, allowing them to adjust while squinting through her fingers, for eventually the light would find her emerging from a small passage to the side.

And when it did, her expression would change from wariness to surprise, a smile perched upon her lips. There were only a few sporting such vibrant hair. And it was long overdue she met her kin again.

"Thalia?"
