Built atop the ivory cliffs of Sootopolis, Casino Starlight is the city's premier gambling establishment. It is a den of decadence and sin where the weary may escape the problems of yesterday. Thirty-five stories tall with three sublevels, the casino is a towering skyscraper. Its bright lights and Art Deco-inspired design draw the eye like a star from all corners of Sootopolis, enticing onlookers to venture up the cliffside and beyond whitestone archways into paradise.[break][break]

FOYER & FACILITIES

Upon entering Casino Starlight, guests will walk into a stunning foyer with marble floors, a high ceiling, and curving staircases leading up to the upper floors. A coat/bag check and elevators are immediately available.[break][break]

The first floor is also home to an expansive swimming pool, fitness center, sauna and spa, and salon for hair, makeup, and nails.[break][break]

THE CASINO

The second and third floors are the casino itself, boasting a vast array of games and entertainment for those wishing to try their luck. From table games such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette, poker, and pool, to slot machines and betting on Pokémon battles, the Casino Starlight has it all.[break][break]

Interested individuals and businesses may use private rooms on the fourth floor for various events, such as conferences, weddings, and parties. Casino Starlight's events coordinator will work with you to ensure everything goes according to your specifications.[break][break]

The fifth floor is home to several award-winning restaurants. Guests can enjoy local Hoennian fare elevated to haute cuisine at THE 8, fine Kalosian dining at L'AMPHITRYON, and a creative menu of Paldean delights at CASA MARCIAL, among other offers.[break][break]

ACCOMMODATIONS

Guests may seek a respite from the delights of paradise by booking a hotel room or suite, located on the remaining thirty floors. Rooms are arranged by cost, with the cheaper rooms on the lower floors; the higher the floor, the most expensive the room.[break][break]

All rooms are equipped with the following amenities: a 24-inch diameter rain shower, jacuzzi, 40-inch television with surround sound, a built-in TV mirror in the bathroom, free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, and fireproof safe.[break][break]

Only guests with membership at Casino Starlight may book presidential suites at the top floors. All Rocket underbosses, admin, Beasts, and Head Scientists may stay within a presidential suite free of charge for a maximum of three nights; beyond that, they must pay a discounted nightly fee.[break][break]

STAFF

Casino Starlight was first built and run by Killian Decker, a former underboss of Team Rocket. Due to the nature of its establishment and its location in Sootopolis City, the casino's operations are managed by the criminal organization.[break][break]

• Yumi Hasegawa - The current owner, who took over in May 2023. A Johtonian native, she is the former heir of the Hasegawa crime family, whose wealth comes from various restaurants, gambling parlors, and similar businesses. She also previously worked for vincenzo de luca at his hotel, the Nimbus, in Mossdeep City. As a result, she is familiar with the industry.
