The pearls bewitched by the psychic energies of Spoink and Grumpig were valuable. It could be considered grunt work, this job, but Cillian had been in the area doing reconnaissance for an eventual move on Mossdeep when he'd received the tip-off.[break][break]

Of course, the underboss was more suited as muscle than for menial tasks, so he enlists an actual grunt (Mirabella Fontaine) to do the hands-on work.[break][break]

Cillian leans against the wall as he watches her work, smoking a cigarette and scattering ash on the grimy floor of the abandoned house. A Luxray lies curled at his feet, chewing idly on the bone of... something. Best not to think too much on it.[break][break]

Though they aim for efficiency, the startled squeals of their captive swine were bound to draw attention if someone happened by.

Mirabella didn't expect to chosen by underboss for a mission least of so soon however she wasn't about too complain. She knew of Spoink and Grumpig pearls she used in some of her more lavish designs however she never knew just what goes into getting them until now. [break][break] She had her reasons for joining Team Rocket. She didn't play by the rules to get what she wanted. The goodness in her heart died along ago and only a thirst for power remained, She would destroy anything that stood in the way of that. Team Rocket the better than always have to be the book. Now in field, the underboss and grunt's roles were as clear as day. Cillian was the lookout and made her she did job right while she capture and trapped the stupid pigs.[break][break] It was easier then what one might think thanks to her adorable little Zorua. Psychic types were nothing to them! Mirabella let them wander off into the forest for a bit to hunt while she Mirabella finished wrapped up these last few spoinks the brought back last time. [break][break] The woman sighed with a stretch before hearing cries from dark foxes again each dragging an unconscious spoinks. "Good work." The pokemon smiles at the praise however their work was far from over. Once again she got to work as she knew they needed to hurry. Voices due echo and echo off attract attention however something was on her mind now making her look over to her superior, "Do you think we have enough now?"[break][break]

"NINE, TEN, ELEVE--NOW WHERE'S THE MISSING TWO?"

Thirty minutes has passed since Sergei realized one of the spoinks from his field work-slash-baby sitting duty has gone missing. This is supposed to be just a small gesture for a fellow researcher who has helped Sergei before in his own study but never did he realize that this also entails an arduous task of keeping watch over some unruly swines. With all the craziness in Hoenn, of course spoink pearls are easy target for people who wanted to harvest them for catalyzing power.

Upon passing by one, inconspicuous alley, the squeals are heard by Sergei's Lunar, leading the way. The loud, chilling noises resonate from the dark, which only made them louder as Volante finally reaches the source of the sound. The cyclizar halts a few feet before the two suspicious figures on the other end.

"What are you doing?" His tone of frustration is enough to send Lunar leading with a HEAT WAVE into the enemy's direction.

Finishing his cigarette, Cillian slowly expels the smoke from his lungs and looks over at Mirabella Fontaine as she speaks. His gaze shifts to settle on the bag half-full of PEARLS.

"It's enough," he decides, nodding. "If we stay much longer, the squealing is going to draw attention."

Unfortunately, it already has.

As they're preparing to leave, his Luxray gets to her feet with a low growl, and Cillian steps outside to confront a man with the same sort of draconic creature that had scarred the underboss in the Rift. He doesn't flinch from it.

"Don't believe that's any of yours. Move along."

Or else is implied even before the SHADOW LUXRAY pads up to his side, bearing her fangs in a snarl. Her SCARY FACE would make just about anyone think twice about their actions, slowing them down.

The red haired barely turned much flinched at the sight of trouble. Ranger, the a lot of them always on the side of their so call justice. It made sick in the kill or be killed world. The red head cocked her head to the side unimpressed by the Roaring Moon show of power.[break][break] "And what we have here?" Another fool give me a break. The woman smiled venomously while Yeuri took battle stance scheming a nasty plot. He would rips apart his opponent if it came down to it. Anything for his trainer.[break][break] "Two choices the outcome will be the same. Move aside or fighting heroic and fail." If you knew anything about rangers most were the reckless so quick the run in dangerous when they didn't what they were surely up against.

Sergei may not be that powerful to combat the two but he is resourceful and not dumb. As he keeps the two busy bickering over his "heroic entrance", his fingers start fidgeting on the phone in his pocket sending an S.O.S. to any authorities nearby, nevermind if there are actually authorities there to help him. At least, for now, he has to keep them entertained.

"How cocky of you, miss. I'd love to see your face if ever you're the one who fails." Words stinging like a POISON HEMLOCK, he returns the smug into the other. He regards the warning signs of both the Luxray and the Zorua but wastes no time to have his Pokemons show their power as well.

Volante eyes the SCARY FACE of the former but makes no mind as he SHIFTS HIS GEAR before posing for a strike. The Roaring Moon, on the other hand, settles into the space between them as it uses its tail to do a BREAKING SWIPE against the two Pokemons.

"That's right: the name's Sergei Dachev and I am here to stop you both." He similarly poses like that of a hero as he gives his speech, thinking like he's in some straight up an action movie. "Now give me back my swines!"

Cillian had learned well the raw power of the creature they'd come to call Roaring Moon; it had been a BREAKING SWIPE to cause the horrible scar across his face, matching wounds upon his right arm.[break][break]

But the dragon is momentarily forgotten as he registers a word.[break][break]

Rather, a name. Dachev?[break][break]

He's only known one man with that name. Surprise sees his brow arch, though he's quick to shelve the thought. It could be a common surname, for all he knew. They had the same red hair and the same smug attitude, but he was not Valerio. He was not a friend.[break][break]

He was, however, a threat.[break][break]

Cillian clicks his tongue, and his Luxray surges toward the dragon with a crackle of electricity, tanking the slash of its claws as she does. VOLT SWITCH sees her return to her pokeball, and another foe emerges in her place. The Dhelmise's ancient, rusted anchor is wrapped in seaweed the colour of blood, a malicious aura emanating from the shadow Pokémon.[break][break]

SHADOW MIASMA swells around Cillian and his Pokémon, obscuring details to silhouette.[break][break]

"You don't know what you're dealing with, fool."[break][break]

They are Rocket, and Rocket don't fight fair.[break][break]

Within the mist, Cillian releases a second Pokémon, this one a Cryogonal that prepares itself with ACID ARMOUR.

How foolishly Heroic! Honestly it made her sick! Mirabella didn't really have the time for this. She was more concerned any further backup that could appear. They needed to finish him off quickly. Why do I feeling this man has been watching too much anime? Sergei Dachev. Doesn't ring any bells but things she had been in the region long enough know people. However she will make sure to put that name up on her personal hit list. "Bite me! I am not wasting my time on idling chatter with a troglodyte."[break][break] Yeuri raised an eye as the dragon. He never a creature like this before. Breaking Swipe would have hit him for sure if yumi shove him out of the at the last moment. The blow knocked her back and grasping however she quickly recovered. She was not about to leave her mate to fight alone. This triggered the ghost type. He didn't hesitate glaring at the roaring moon with in foul purple energy growing around him.

After a moment the energy seem lunge off from the fox and one of the Roaring's moon wings. Bitter malice was something alright. He want immobilizing his prey before torment it. [break][break] Yumi has similar intimidations like a pack of wolves used the moment to slip behind the beast and attack the roaring moon from behind. It was a bit foul play. However anything to get the job done!

A TROGLO-WHAT? Sergei has no time dissecting the words of his opponents because his two dragons has been immediately overwhelmed by the pair of the two kidnappers. "Hey, that is not fair! I only have two Pokemons out."

Figuring the two would not listen anyway, he begins making a calculated strategy to get past this and to buy some more time before the police arrives.

He watches the Luxray attempt to tackle Enigma with a VOLT SWITCH, immediately disappearing into a shadowy smog that engulfs the man. The electric attack hits, but it is not enough to bring down his Pokemon even when the white Zorua uses BITTER MALICE against the Roaring Moon. Fortunately, the attack only manages to get its tail in FROSTBITE; enough for the dragon to still perform a trick that can match the glitz of the two thieves' Pokemons.

Enigma lifts its wings in a moon pattern, a ritual for an ancient move he is about to do: the CROWN OF ECLIPSE sends a rippling wave of fire towards the enemy lines, the scorching heat triggering the HARSH SUNLIGHT in their vicinity. The sun eventually cures the frostbite, solar power triggering the PROTOSYNTHESIS of the ancient dragon.

"Don't think for a second I would not put up a fight!"

It is eventually Volante's turn: Sergei leaps off the speedy dragon as it attempts to RAPID SPIN its way into the Shadow Miasma, attempting to remove the dark cloak in the atmosphere.
