No matter what you do, it never seems to be good enough. While you've tried time and time again to remain patient with the league, you've been let down just as many times. The first disappointment came in losing your beloved Aggron. It had been your pokemon that you raised since it was an Aron. The words are still fresh in your mind, that your partner died for the greater good. How the fuck did such a personal loss equate to another tally for the 'greater good'? But you were patient, you understood where their words stemmed from, from the fact that sometimes there was such a thing as a necessary loss.

The league insisted you needed a mental break, that the battle of Mt. Pyre had been too much for you, that you'd seen and dealt with too much. They couldn't afford such a casualty so you were simply let go. It was such a humiliating loss, but once more, you grinned and beared it for the greater good. But just what was the greater good? All the work you've put in and this was the thanks you got? Breathe in.

Surprisingly all this loss had been fine, but the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back was when your younger sister, the only person you really gave a damn about in this world, had been no more than a casualty in the battle in the Ultra Deep Sea. Yet again, you were met with those awful words: her sacrifice was for the greater good. Loss had taken its toll on you. If the greater good meant sacrifice upon sacrifice, then to hell with the greater good. The League were no more than a bunch of amateur heroes who managed to take so much from you in striving for the unachievable, and you would soon reclaim what you've lost in spades.

God damn the heroes who don't listen to reason, and God pity those that do.
