Once again, Thomas found himself crossing through the Silent Icelands. Perhaps he was looking for more clues, seeing what could be done for the imprisoned Pokemon.

Though it was doubtful that he'd find an answer on this trip, every little bit of effort helped.

A Mist began to form around the area, causing the visibility to diminish. Thomas and Ripper both stopped, looking around for the source of the mist. Soon, something would upheave a Rock towards the Kalosian. Acting fast, Ripper dashed in front of his master, and shattered it with a well-placed Bullet Punch.

The instigator would reveal herself. An Aurorus barreled towards them, firing off an Aurora Beam towards them. Ripper would shield his master, looking on with more annoyance at the dinosaur than anything. In retaliation, he'd lob a volley of Bullet Punches at her. All she could do was cry out in pain as the onslaught of blows caused her to drop to the ground, quickly losing consciousness.

Once the "fight" was over, Thomas signaled to Ripper to move along with him.

As the two moved through the Icelands, a Vanillite spotted the duo. The sight of the massive Scizor caused her to freeze. Rather than taking on the hulking insect, the Vanillite ducked behind the nearest structure, and got out of dodge.

A Hydro Pump would come flying towards the duo. Ripper would quickly shove his master out of the path, taking the attack. he would be sent flying into a chunk of ice, dazing the bug for a moment.

An Empoleon marched towards the trainer. Thinking quickly, the trainer brought out his Galvantula, Thread, to his defense. The Galvantula fired off an Electroweb at the steely penguin, ensnaring her. She would cry out in pain as the current zapped her. Despite this, she powered through, attempting to Brine the bug with a stream of salty water from her beak.

The Galvantula would dodge the oncoming attack with ease, thanks to his mobility and speed. In response, he would fire off a bolt of Thunder at the Empoleon, his Compoundeyes allowing him to line up a clean shot on the Water-type. The Empoleon let out a cry of pain as she fell. Thomas looked to Thread, patting him on the head for a job well done.

Thomas rushed over to the Scizor, who had staggered back up to his feet. The metal insect looked disappointed that he missed out on the fight. Nevertheless, he gave the Galvantula some praise for handling himself well.
