To say that the city was having a bad day at the moment was something of an understatement. The dam broke after the first PorygonZ prodded at some critical infrastructure regarding power routing near the company, after that it was a massive data breach as the swarm of Porygon began to flood into the city and break into every system they could. Traffic lights flash wildly and jam traffic all across downtown, car headlights flash other drivers and cause accidents, household appliances explode as they're overloaded with energy, it was sheer chaos and the public was crying out for Devon Corp's heads as cybersecurity specialists run through the city trying to catch the stray Porygons before they can do further damage.

It was the perfect backdrop for Xenon as she twirls her lanyard on her finger casually, walking down the street with Rhodium in tow as she scans for her partner in crime for the afternoon. Her smile grows wider as she spots Yumi Hasegawa, picking up her pace until she's right in front of the girl and pulling on her outstretched hand to slam her into a hug. "O.M.G. your outfit is looking so damn adorable!!" Xenon squeals as she squeezes the total stranger tightly, before breaking off and doing a little twirl. "So great to meet you girl, but not as great as it is to meet me I'm sure. Kidding, kidding, but not really though!"

A quiet series of beeps from the Iron Jugulis catches Xenon's attention and her eyes seem to glaze over for a moment as she reads an unseen series of codes running across the inside of her glasses, a quick nod and a tap on the side later and Xenon's attention turns right back to Yumi. "Alright so, I'm sure you've noticed by now, but the whole city is like, a little bit fucked. I did that, hashtag humble brag, but I didn't just do it for fun! Basically our target is gonna be oveeeeeeer-" She stretches out her arm and points randomly, slowly adjusting her angle until she settles on what appears to be the fourth floor of Devon Corp's headquarters, lights flashing randomly in the windows and screams echoing from behind closed doors. "-there! There's gonna be a lot of Porygon, but the only ones you need to focus on is the one that look like this!" Xenon pulls out her phone and shows off a Porygon2 with a blue coloration to it, a phenomenon that usually only happened when a rogue space particle hit a motherboard in just the right way.

"Easy to understand right? Any questions, concerns, praises of my brilliance?" Whether Yumi had anything to say or not, it would have to be a walk and talk as Xenon calls back Rhodium into its pokeball and starts walking towards Devon Corp headquarters, looking for all intents and purposes like just another random tech hurrying to the scene to put out the digital fire that she had started.

"Of course not, proper ultramodernism requires always looking your utmost best no matter the situation." Fashion was very important to Xenon right now, so its good that her partner in crime for the day would come dressed to impress as they walk into the Devon Corp headquarters. What's even more impressive to anyone who might know of Xenon's reputation within Team Rocket, is how utterly professional the girl maintains herself as they walk through the lobby of the building, spreading her arms wide to her side as she's scanned for weapons, and not having even a single stray pocket knife on her or in her purse as they go through the metal detectors. The absolute worst it gets is a Houndoom raising its head and taking a good long stare at her as it sniffs the air, before finally dismissing her as they move into the building proper and hop in an elevator up to the fourth floor.

As for the pokemon she releases once the security is sent away, it could only be the compact specter Gengar popping out of her shadow to emerge next to Lilligant, a devious smile on his face as it snickers for reasons unknown. Probably because of how easily he had snuck past literally every single security pokemon in that lobby, a fun little challenge that Xenon allowed to keep him sharp. Maybe she couldn't resist just a little mischief herself, even at her utmost professional.

"Alright, lets go!" Xenon shouts as she barrels into the room behind Yumi, Argon following even closer behind as he sinks into the wall and rushes around to corner the Porygon2 before it could escape into a computer or phone. A red body swivels around to look at the intruders, digital eyes blinking into a glaring face as it charges up a Psybeam and fires at Argon, only a narrow duck back into the wall keeping him from getting his brains scrambled as he takes evasive maneuvers from the rampaging data Pokemon. "Not our target, knock it out in one go and we'll move to the next room." Xenon says tersely as she starts moving in a wide berth around the Porygon2 and towards the next door out of the office.

A glitchy yelp from behind lets Xenon known that she can keep moving forwards as she pulls out her phone, scrolling through a list of nonsensically named applications while Yumi spoke up.

"What, figuring out it was on the fourth floor wasn't good enough? We could be searching through the entirety of the 30 floor building." She shoots back as she opens up an app on her phone, tapping in a series of cyclic numbers until she found the settings she was looking for. An outstretched arm holds out her phone and points it northwest, a slow series of steady beeps emanates from its speaker as she sweeps from left to right trying to find the right direction.

"I can probably narrow us down to the right room. Hopefully. Maybe." She doesn't give the woman any time to question her inconcise answer before she's making a break to the left and pushing open another door, sweeping into a cafeteria filled with glitched out Porygon firing beams of electricity at everything in sight. "Not that room, not that room!" Xenon shouts as she backpedals out of the cafeteria and slams the doors shut, barely holding them closed as multiple beams of energy and artificially weighted data begin to slam into the door. "Argon, door, now!" She screams as the Gengar surfaces through the floor, slamming its own body against the door and freeing up Xenon to start running to the opposite end of the room. "Taking the long way around, five Porygon about to slam through that door!"

Not a moment after Yumi would bare witness to the Gengar flying across the room and into the wall as a half dozen Porygon come pouring in through the busted open cafeteria doors, a garbled screech of broken data and fury escaping their digital chassis as they spot the girl and start charging up all manner of Psybeams and Tri-Attacks aimed right at the fleeing duo. And while Xenon had full confidence in her abilities as a trainer, right now she just didn't have the room in this low ceiling office to bring out her real heavy hitters, she suspected much the same could be said about Yumi.

The woman lets out a surprisingly high pitched yelp as she's grabbed by the arm and pulled out of the room, a blush springing to her cheeks as she yanks her arm from Yumi Hasegawa's grasp and brushes herself off of any imaginary dust that might be clinging to her. "He'll be fine, he's trained under the vaunted Master Koga after all. A ghost like that won't be killed by something as pathetic as spam email." Xenon replies cooly as she straightens out her outfit and turns down the corridor that they had found themselves in.

"Anyways! You're gonna have to take the lead now until Argon finds his way back to me, it's not gonna look great for our cover if I send out any of my other Pokemon... well, I guess I have one other, but they're not really a fighter." She waits for Yumi to walk ahead of her as she starts guiding her through the building, a short ten minute walk later and they're just about to their destination as they stand outside the office of some low level nobody who probably had the day off or something.

"Alright, should be in there. Porygon2 with a weird coloration, blue instead of red, red instead of blue. Try and knock it out in one go, after that I'll be sticking this thumb drive into it to download the info we need so we can get the hell out of here." It's a simple plan, foolproof almost, so why does it feel like something is bound to go wrong as Yumi lays her hand on the handle of the office door....?

Master Koga was not a real person, someone Xenon had made up off the top of her head for no reason in particular other than 'they were the first words to come to mind.' She had honestly already forgotten who Master Koga was, if she was asked the exact same question again she probably would have said something like 'He who drinks deep of the poisoned chalice could never be killed by something so ineffectual as a bug bite.' Or something equally as meaningless and inane.

But thankfully for Yumi's own sanity, she did not ask further questions of Xenon, instead moving on to the much more pressing matter of "How the hell do you plan on defending yourself without a Pokemon" or something along those lines. "I brought a machine of war from the future, the venomous wheel of progress that crushes the past under its tread, annnnnnd the symbol of ultramodernism. Out of the three, Chromium would be the only one I could release without too much collateral damage, but its also the one that would be the least helpful seeing as how it only knows how to Tackle its body into other things. But I guess I could release Radon if the situation really called for it, though we'd pretty much be blowing our cover wide open and exposing ourselves as saboteurs." Not an ideal situation, but Xenon didn't mind going off script.

They arrive at the conference room and burst in, and thankfully Xenon's predictions prove to be correct as they spot the strangely colored Porygon2 floating above a mountain of computers it seemed to be piling, siphoning their batteries and eating all their data for reasons none could possibly discern. Well it was at least, right up until the two intruders burst into the room and ordered a full on attack on it in the middle of its feast.

The pokemon lets out a static filled hiss of fury as it blinks out of the way of Kibin's axe kick, the attack instead hitting that mound of laptops and crashing straight through to scatter shards of plastic and electronics all over, including more than a few heading right their way! Its only some fast thinking on Xenon's part that saves them from getting peppered with plastic shards as she releases her Scolipede out in front of them, the massive insect easily taking up a quarter of the room as the shards of laptop harmlessly bounce off of her thick carapace.

The Porygon2 wasn't done though as it screeches furiously over its lost meal, letting loose a massive Discharge of electricity all around it and pushing into the Lilligant to punish it for its insolence!

"I'm talking about the future here, shouldn't that be obvious?" It was very clearly not obvious to anyone but Xenon, but that was neither here nor there, what mattered is that she had gotten her point across fairly clearly. "I did bring an appropriate Pokemon for this. He then got knocked into the infrastructure of the building by a rampaging terabyte of Porygon." Somewhere in the walls of the building, her Gengar slaps a hand to his forehead as if he feels his trainer saying something stupid while he looks for her.

But she wasn't total dead weight as she provides a nice thick shield to cover the two of them while the battle rages on, a very annoyed looking Scolipede glaring at the Lilligant which had so rudely crashed into her body. Another Pokemon is released behind Radon and right in between Xenon and Yumi, a tall gothic witch casting her spell upon the rampaging Porygon2 in the form of a halo of calming rings.

The data Pokemon is hit by the Hypnosis with little problem as its body starts to slow down and stabilize, the pixels of its eyes flickering between open and shut like a stuttering video until finally it falls to the floor with a pixelated series of Zs hanging over its head. "Great work team, couldn't have done it without you, your contributions to the company have been noted, blah blah blah, let's bag this and go!" Xenon exclaims as she plants her hands on her Scolipede's body and hauls herself over the large bug, landing right next to Kibin and strolling over to the sleeping Porygon2. A small USB stick is produced from her sleeve with a flick of her wrist, then gently poked into the Pokemon's neck as the process of download begins.

"You can get going now if you want. You probably should get going in fact, unless you want to get-" Its at this exact moment as Xenon turns to speak to Yumi once more that a light clicking sound emanates from the ceiling, followed by a deluge of water pouring down onto the both of them as the sprinkler system spontaneously activates. "-soaked, happened earlier than I expected. Well, messing with the data of semi-living creatures is an art and not a science I guess. Download finished~!" Xenon's hand snaps out and plucks the USB from the Porygon's neck before it can get too wet, strolling back to the doorway as she recalls her Scolipede and walks right past Yumi. Mission accomplished!
