The laughter from her group of friends could barely be heard over the loud thumping bass from the club's speaker systems. The whole lot of them were crowded on the dancefloor. While they might have started their evening together as a group as more and more people piled onto the dance floor they inevitably got separated from each other.[break][break]

But Leilani was no stranger to this at all. In fact, she and the girls were seasoned veterans when it came to this sort of party scene. The main thing that set this night apart was that it was the beginning of their Spring Break so they were much wilder than usual. With a drink in her hand Lani's hips swayed to the music as she would occasionally gyrate against a sweaty stranger on the dancefloor.[break][break]

The only thought on her mind was seeing how far she could push her limits tonight. Things were beginning to get boring with school, the people she hangs out with, and her family. She was drifting, going through the motions and there was nothing she hated more than being bored like this. Not to mention she was getting into more and more arguments with her elder brother back at home. She was tired and just wanted to forget about all her worries tonight.

Twenty-four years old, and already starting to run this well-oiled machine, Magnus gave the night of to the gang, and decided instead to hit up the club. He always liked the club scene. Between gyrating hips, Magnus found himself dancing to the music that pounds in his ears. Somewhere between an hour ago when he was first drunk to now, he lost his shirt.[break][break]

He forgot where that went now. Oh well. Lost somewhere on the dancefloor now, and he has no real desire to get it back.[break][break]

Probably for the best now. Man was built so well, he could grind meat on his abs better than a grinder, and the club scene noticed. But why wouldn't they notice the giant six foot nine monster of a man, taller than all the room, living his best life?[break][break]

Throwing back a drink, and slapping someone's ass (not that he remembers who anymore... Stacy? Like Stacy with the ass?), he stumbles his way around the floor, feeling hands trying to keep him locked down.[break][break]

Luckily for him, he finds a hot piece of ass who he very, very much wants to know the name of.[break][break]

Pushing the limp-dick out of the way who was enjoying their close contact, he looks down with a toothy grin, and lets the dog out. "Damn, baby, your waist is SNATCHED. How come I haven't seen you around? Can I buy you a drink? Maybe a bed and breakfast?" His golden eyes are checking her out so much that he isn't even concealing his own interest. The music really was loud in this place. But even if she couldn't hear everything she certainly felt the absence of body heat behind her, only to be replaced by someone new. Turning around, Leilani was met a chiseled chest and rippling abs. Blinking in surprised she stared up at the man who suddenly approached her, even if she had to crane her neck up to really see him. At the mention of her snatched waist Lani chuckled. It wasn't the most impressive pick-up line she'd heard but, it was something about his directness that intrigued her. That...and he was hot as hell too. She always enjoyed her men a little rough around the edges. Sanguine eyes twinkled as she glanced once more to the dance floor before shrugging. [break][break]

A crack of a smirk over his lips, he could see her shrug and asked for both, and Magnus was all too quick to place his card to her hand. "Whatever the princess wants, on me." It's a ballsy move, but he's not above making a show of himself. Though, he did find his arm around her.[break][break]

Golden eyes upturn to the bar, where money was only a number, and the ETA to Poundtown was departing soon. A location Magnus knows very well, and would slowly guide them over, seating himself more level to her on a bar stool.[break][break]

Lani had a soft spot for being called princess. This guy was good. That...or she was drunk.

Either way it worked out for her as he handed her his card for her to do with as she pleased. She raised an eyebrow at him but wasn't about to question it. Just as easily as he slipped the card into her hand he also snaked an arm around her and lead her towards the bar. The bartender who she'd been chatting up earlier flashed her a knowing look as she offered a soft shrug. [break][break]

"Usual?" he mouthed to her as the thumping bass would've drowned him out anyway. "One penicillin actually." she said with an easy grin. she was in the mood for something sweet and some scotch. She especially liked the way this bartender would prepare it with freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey ginger syrup.[break][break]

Magnus, as she learned swiftly after, introduced himself as he leaned in close to speak to her so she could hear. His antics were really...something but she found that sort of charming. Lani chuckled as she turned towards him. She didn't blame him for looking, her ensemble today was to draw attention to her toned figure anyway. [break][break]

Curves in the right places accentuated by skin tight clothes and body jewelry. Lani sat next to him and intentionally slipped her leg in-between his, adding pressure with purpose but wasn't uncomfortable. She gently twirled her raven colored hair around her fingers as she smiled at him. "Nice to meet you Magnus." she purred. "You can call me Lani but..." she said as she gently brushed a manicured nail across the skin of his arm. [break][break]

Magnus definitely took notice, between the unique eye color of the woman now seated next to him. And to say she was the only one drawing attention would be a lie. No shirt on his end, he let the ink on his body and the chisel of his abs do the talking. He didn't need to hype himself, he didn't need to give more than that.[break][break]

Thing was, he was the Hype, and he knew it better than most.[break][break]

So, when she twirls her raven hair in her fingers, gives her name, and then runs a nail across his arm, he makes an interested growl. He was in a rush, but if she's saying to slowdown, he better put the breaks on.[break][break]

With the slowdown, he shoots a look to the bartender. "Boulevardier." Bourbon. Not his drink of choice, but he liked bourbon. He's more a whiskey man.[break][break]

The bartender prepared both of their drinks and handed them off before attending to other's at the bar. Meanwhile Magnus seemed to be heeding Lani's request. It made her smile to see he was so receptive. Especially because if she had to judge based on looks he looked like quite the delinquent. [break][break]

But that's just what she liked about him. [break][break]

At the mentions of dreams the slightest cloud appeared in her crimson pools. What were the dreams and goals she had for herself? She didn't really have any if she really thought about it. She was just doing whatever she thought would make those around her happy. It probably why she felt so hollow in the first place. [break][break]

"Dunno if I have something like those." she answered honestly, her tone giving off a light chuckle as she mysteriously took a sip from her drink. "I'm not so much of a future planner but rather a present enjoyer." she said with a warm grin. It's true. She'd rather enjoy what was in front of her than worry about what was on the horizon. "What about you Magnus? What makes you tick?" she asked as picked up the toothpick with a cherry on it from her drink and bit into it. The move was seductive in itself. The way she slowly pulled the berry off the pick with her teeth. How she licked the tip of the pick before placing it beside her drink. And after the cherry was devoured how she took the stem in her mouth for a moment before tying it into a knot with only her tongue. [break][break]

A simple party trick she picked up while at college but a slight show to convey her future intentions with Magnus nonetheless. She was sure he'd know what she meant.

It seemed her simple party trick was just up Magnus' alley since she watched his smug grin fall off his face in seconds. His eyes stayed trained on her lips practically entranced before falling to her chest shortly after. His mutter of how dangerous of a woman she was tickled her as she watched him take a hasty sip of his drink.[break][break]

"Gimme thirty minutes, I'll have you on my arm, an hour and you'll be moaning my name. Two, and you won't be walkin' straight for a couple days." [break][break]

Lani tapped a manicured nail against her puckered lips, a slight pout on her features. "Hmm, only 2 hours babe? We'll have to fix that stamina of yours first." she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes. A challenge, should he be bold enough to accept. He clearly was rocking enough confidence to make audacious claims like earlier. But two could play that game. And Lani was a competitive soul.[break][break]

Magnus went on to talk about things that motivated him and Leilani listened. As he spoke about his crew and how he was willing to do whatever to protect them she found herself a little envious. He had something special. A place where he could afford to look to the future, to fight for something other than himself. She could only wonder if she would ever get the chance to have something like that. [break][break]

"Sounds nice," Lani said before laughing. "Your crew I mean. Though getting pussy can be nice, can confirm." she giggled taking another sip from her poisoned chalice before polishing it off and setting it back on the bar. She licked the remnants of the honey and lemon scotch off her lips before turning to Magnus with a sultry gaze.[break][break]

"Are you a betting man Magnus?" she purred as she closed the distance between them. Her nails gently scraped against his neck while her breath tickled his skin. "Two minutes." she whispered in his ear. "I bet it'll take less than two minutes on that dance floor before your little friend, is eager to meet me." He knew exactly what she was referring to she was sure.

Magnus seems locked in and Lani can't help but feel more and more eager to tease him while she had him here. His strong hands snake around her body and grip her tightly with intention. When she laughs, he knows he has her. Sure, her arms around his neck, and his around her snatched-as-hell waist are keys to the goods. Magnus knew, however, the moment that she laughs, it's all over. The buzz of alcohol in both their systems, she leans close with a purr to kiss his ear, and allowed him to lead the way.[break][break]

"Oh, we're gonna have a good night." He takes a second to look at the dance floor, before whisking Lani away into the night. The good news, here in Unova, they ran the show for a hot minute. Thanks to the like of @keira, they were not as small time as they could have been. Even had their own place.[break][break]

And Magnus? His own bed. A big, big bed that could fit two, and it didn't take long to find their way there. Given the chance, the trail of clothes leading from the entrance to the bedroom was the surefire sign that Magnus had brought another babe home.[break][break]

Some tangled mess on the bed was now the bodies covered in a blanket between Magnus and Leilani. Holding her into him, he felt proud of himself for lasting as long as he did; with a woman who knows how to work him without ever having a manual, it was damn surprising. Hard to find a woman or man who could match him in the bed, but well.[break][break]

He hadn't met Lani till tonight, and wouldn't meet Jasmine Blair for a few years to come.[break][break]

So he has to admit it a little. "Arceus, baby. I'll be shooting blanks tomorrow." A small, light slap to her ass, as he lays against the headrest of the bed. He was incredibly content.

Lani had expected good things, but she hadn't expected him to be that good. Lani usually had fun when she spent time with people but she'd never met someone that could actually keep up with her. There was always some part of her that was left wanting after night spent with someone. She'd just assumed that was normal.[break][break]

But apparently not.[break][break]

Magnus had thoroughly surprised her and so she just couldn't keep her hands off him for the rest of the night. She might have gotten a litte carried away as they were now completely tuckered out. The soft light signifying a new day was beginning to peak through the cracks on the horizon.[break][break]

She was snuggled close to Magnus, her body softly aching from their night long activities. Her skin was peppered with hickeys all over while Magnus was adorned with scratch marks, all telltale signs that they had enjoyed themselves last night. Hell, even Lani's voice felt hoarse now from their little escapades. [break][break]

"Arceus, baby. I'll be shooting blanks tomorrow." Magnus replied as he gently slapped her ass which made her giggle. "No worries, I have some tricks that can fix that~" she said as she looked up and reached to cup his cheek before pulling him in to gently kiss him. For the first time in a while Lani felt this dangerous feeling surging within her, but she wasn't quite sure what it was yet.

Damn, it was already morning? The soft light peaking through the window, with a woman like Lani now attached to him at the hip. Damn. This is why people pray to Arceus. Hickeys, scratches. He never thought she'd tire out, and it was making it hard for him to do the same.[break][break]

That's just the kind of woman Leilani was, it seemed, and when she giggled, and told him she had a few tricks to fix that, Magnus was finding himself kissing her again. If that wasn't an invitation for another meet, he didn't know what was.[break][break]

It's when the kiss breaks, just a spell, he stares.[break][break]

"You know... woman like you-" There's some possessiveness to it. Something Magnus hadn't felt before. There were two women he felt that for in this world. Only two. He didn't know why though. "-you seem like you were lookin' for a home."[break][break]

So then he offers it.[break][break]

"Wanna join my gang? Make a lot of money... love to have you stick around." There's that word. Love. Magnus doesn't understand that word in romanticism. Sure, there's love, things he loves to do. People, riding around the city, jacking someone's face up. But he isn't one for it.[break][break]

"How about it, princess?"

Their kiss breaks and Leilani finds Magnus staring at her with this specific glint in his eye. Before she could say anything to question it though he spoke up. "You know... woman like you-" Lani nodded as she gently traced patterns on his skin with her nails. "Mhm, go on. A woman like me~" she teased as she waited for him to continue.[break][break]

"-you seem like you were lookin' for a home." That's when Lani pauses. What did that mean? She found herself immediately torn between how she should feel and respond. Part of her felt irritated because, who the fuck just goes and says that? But another part of her was scared. How did he know? Was it that obvious? This was something she felt like was a dark secret of hers. Never had she felt an invasion of privacy like this before. But was this his fault if it was truly that obvious?[break][break]

Next she felt shame. Had she always been walking around looking this pitiful to others. Of course, all she wanted was a place to belong. It was a dream she had since she was young. Especially since her older brother made it a point to let her know she was welcome in their home. And to tell you the truth he had a point. She was just a guest, and invader in their home. She didn't belong there. Her 'real' family had died and she was just a charity case for her father.[break][break]

There was no place left for her. That was the truth she had been desperately trying to run from, especially last night.[break][break]

Magnus once again throws her for a loop by his next statement. "Wanna join my gang? Make a lot of money... love to have you stick around." It was clear by her facial expression that she felt conflicted. What did he mean, 'join his gang'? She couldn't just waltz up in there. It'd be the same thing as when she was adopted by the Reinhardt's. She didn't want to be a guest again. But a part of her was wondering if this time it would be different? After all, the way he talked about his merry band last night, surely he could care for her like he did them too, right?[break][break]

"How about it, princess?" Magnus asks again and Leilani stares back at him. "I..." she paused as she turned her gaze down towards the sheets. She felt the sudden sting in her eyes and covered her face with her hand. This was so embarrassing. How could she be sitting here crying in front of this man like this?[break][break]

"I don't...want to intrude." she lets her insecurities answer. "You guys probably don't need me. I don't...have anything to offer you all."
