The two set on their safari journey, opting to head towards the aquatic parts of the Safari Park as the trainer was out and about hunting for the next addition for her team. She secretly was after that Charcadet, tempted to search as long as she'd need for that perfect little swordsman. Their first Pokemon discovered was a massive school of fish floating around. She'd stumble backwards as Proxi took a quick scan. "That's...a big Pokemon." she commented, noticing as the school had noticed them. Instead of going to attack, they'd all just scatter away, revealing...a smaller little fish?!

Vanilla stared with a confused expression as Proxii would showcase it on his screen. "They're actually just one single main Pokemon. The size comes from a whole bunch of them swarming together." "Which makes this way easier to catch it!" She'd take out a safari ball and quickly throw it at the small fish, watching as its form was captured inside of the capsule.

Their expedition continued across the Safari Zone as Vanilla soon caught wind of a Galarian Zigzagoon from afar. Her interest piqued while pointing at it. "Oh, we found one! I've always wanted a cool Obstagoon like Beryl." she squeezed, rubbing both hands together while sending Proxii out, catching the phone that had dropped out from him depossessing it. "Kekekeke!" The Rotom cried as Vanilla would flick towards the dark type. "Electro Ball!" An electric type smashed into the unsuspecting Zigzagoon, forcing it too tumble backwards and look up to attack. Vanilla thought ahead, the wild Pokemon running straight into an empty safari ball as it was contained and captured.

"Hehehehe, this is awesome!" Vanilla said, tossing the Pokeball containing the Zigzagoon up into the air. She'd walk along with Proxii while the two would continue down on their little Safari Excursion. "There should be more if we go a little further inside of this place. No sign of that Charcadet though." Vanilla looked forward into the land, hellbent on getting that little guy as she'd continue forward. "We're gunna find one. And I'm gunna make him as cool as the one that Thomas uses." They continued forward, eventually stumbling across a sleeping Clampearl. Proxii took a quick scan of it before leaving the sleeping Pokémon to itself.

Some nearby shrubs would begin to shake as Vanilla's eyes went immediately towards the sounds of the disturbance. "Charcadet?" she asked, getting an eager smile as she'd grin and rush over with baited breath. Before her course of action could be corrected, she'd scurry over to the bush and spread it apart with a joyful smile...until it soured upon spotting the Ledyba. She'd frown in frustration, taking Proxii as she snapped a screenshot of the bug type and move on in search for her lovely little fire guy.

Vanilla walked, and searched, and searched some more, but still, no sign of that fiery little guy! She huffed and took a breather on a nearby bench while watching some bushes nearby shake as the soft cries of a Pokémon could be heard. She would have believed it to be a Charcadet, but the crackling electricity all but dashed those chances. "Ugh, still no sign of it. But where else could it be? Did that Safari Lead lie to us?" She pouted, stomping her feet as the trainer looked over towards the horizon.

The smell of burnt charcoal. Could it be?! Vanilla's heart began to race as a grin appeared on her face. "Yes, that's it!" she smiled, scrambling over towards the direction of the small. Her sprint took her across the way and then to the middle of a small clearing, just right outside of the wooded area. There it was, standing before her as it had been busy munching on a berry. "EEEEE, THERE IT IS! I KNEW I'D GET ONE!" She giggled to herself, throwing out the Wishiwashi from earlier as they'd take on the Schooling form from earlier. Vanilla smiled, pointing at the Charcadet. "Use Brine and wash 'em out!" The school would come together and blast the fiery ghost across the way. It pushed them back while Vanilla would throw out a Safari Ball at the Pokemon, catching it with glee.

"Yes! Oh man, I bet Thomas Benoit is gunna freak when he sees I got one!"
