Amor was doing his best. That was all he could do, now that he knew his P.R.I.M.E. wasn't going to be actually operational potentially ever at least not in the way that he wanted it. So he had to divert his focus, find something new to work on. That was when he discovered an anomaly within Rocket, and he figured much as when he had learned about Primal Energy under Eva Morales's tutelage, this was an opportunity that he couldn't waste. So he had asked for bryan delarosa to come to the lab, his lab now. With help from Tempest Quinn, Amor had managed to make Oscar's old lab more of his own than it had been, and while it still held it's original charm, it contained his aesthetic now as well.

A man like this would prove useful in uncovering the secrets of Infinity Energy, Avatarship, and above all else, he may find a way to keep his promise to Eris Halla after all. He already had been devising a way to heal Mesprit, and it's siblings, but this would expedite that process. It at least removed one blockade from the road in front of him. There were of course other reasons that he wanted to examine this particular Rocket, but he needed to learn more first.

Knowledge was power after all....

Bryan was summoned to Oscar's old laboratory, or was it basically his now? His name was Amor Rose, he apparently was the man accused of attacking Melody Miro in her own opera house. He liked that, the man had the balls to stand up to one of those pompous league dogs who had everything they could want and more. [break][break]

And so he entertained the demand. After all, someone that rich wanting his attention? The scent of money was too tempting to reject. [break][break]

He knocks on the door and then enters after, refusing to wait until he was given permission to enter. His Hisuian Liligant enters behind him joyfully jumping around and contrasting Bryan's own serous and rather neutral bitch face. "Amor Rose?" he asks as he sees an unfamiliar face before him.

In this lab is a Metagross, a Porygon-Z, and a Rotom flitting around looking at a few computer screens, before Amor is alerted to the presence of someone outside the door. Meeting the presented neutral bitch face, with a curt nod as he brushed a few strands of hair from his face. He had decided to at least shower, and put on a shirt for this meeting. Locking himself away in his forge was a detriment to his health both physically, and mentally.

"Mr. Delarosa, I appreciate you coming here on short notice...I would like to talk to you about a few things if you're up for it." He explained to him easily, and motioned to a chair for him to sit in should he want, while Amor grabbed a glass of lemonade to offer to his guest. "Particularly about your unique condition...If you don't mind, of course you are free to not answer me at all. I don't begrudge a man who wants to keep his secrets." Another easy nod as he took a sip of his own lemonade.

He raises an eyebrow at the lemonade, the man taking a sip first, he wonders if it was to prove to bryan it wasn't laced with any drugs. Sadly, he wouldn't put it past certain individuals to try something with him. [break][break]

"My condition as an avatar?" he asks for no reason, extremely aware of what it was this man wanted to ask him about. Bryan had heard of him before, a famous CEO or something, but he wasn't exactly one to pay attention to all that glamor and pomp. He was a country boy, a mixed bastard, he had to worry more about fighting for survival.

"Sure, however, I don't work for free." he says as he grabs the glass and takes a rather large drink from the glass, allowing the man a chance to entice the greedy wolf.

"No one ever works for free, of that I am well aware since I'm a business man as well. But I think you won't refuse my offer." He says with a charming smile to bryan delarosa before taking another drink of lemonade.

"You're effectively immortal from what I have gathered, however as much of a boon as that is, it's also you're curse is it not? Isn't that why Declan has you powering Rocket Tech instead of the Floette? I'm not familiar with the details of the deal obviously. But should you help me with my research I will add to my list of things to achieve, 'Free Bryan Delarosa from his indentured servitude'. It can't be pleasant being a battery. I dislike unnecessary suffering." The silvery haired man spoke candidly wondering if the one in front of him would accept those terms.

For all Amor knew Bryan was a masochist and enjoyed having his life sucked out of him like a raisin in the sun, but this was what he was going to start with. It was imperative that he learned as much about Infinity Energy as he could so that he could keep his promise to Eris Halla.

Amor was nothing if not a man of his word.

"So what do you say?"

He had a distrust of people in business, well he had a distrust of people in general but business men were also someone he didn't particularly care for. However, it seemed this one knew enough about him already and was starting to be blatant about his goal. He didn't waste time. [break][break]

"I wouldn't call it a curse, more of a duty." he responds "But rather accurate, and the details of the deal are meaningless so I'll share them for free. I asked declan walsh for his help in securing Xerneas for Rocket. In return for Walsh helping me, I became rocket's new battery as I hold more infinity energy than that floette in elijah gardner's care." [break][break]

However he refrains sharing with the man that part of his motivation in it was saving the floette he called soleil. [break][break]

"The only way I can describe the process is by describing it as if a million flies are draining you of your blood at once. Or you can feel yourself vanishing but you refuse to leave your body." as he starts to describe the process of having your life force drained.

Amor listened attentively to everything that bryan delarosa was telling him, and he made mental notes on everything that he said.

"I've experienced something similar....So I understand to some degree...." Amor explains to the man. "Palkia attempted to rend me from existence....It was unpleasant...." The memory was bitter, but he had survived at the very least. While it paled in comparison to what Bryan himself went through, Amor at least had an inkling of that feeling he described. "Perhaps there is a way to free you from that pain, a work around....Has anyone ever taken a blood sample from you?" Amor didn't know if any of the previous Rockets had studied the marvel that lie within their midst.

There had to be a way to synthesize an alternate source? The obvious outcome was that the Floette would be used again, but Amor wasn't fond of having a Pokemon suffer either. At least not necessarily.

"I've not gotten all of Rocket's science documents yet, or had the time to go through them....So if I seem underprepared that is why....There is alot to sift through...." He chuckled a little.

He crosses his leg and slumps back into his chair "Naomi Sato recently took a sample, I haven't really heard back from her just yet but she was interested in researching me and Xerneas's blood.". Bryan tilts his head "However, I really don't think that someone who would mess with a pokemon like Palkia is trying to help me with my "condition" out of the goodness of his heart, much less a business man. What do you want from me?"

Amor looked at the mans suspicion, and he just laughed a little.

"Well it wasn't only me, were you there on Mt. Pyre when it was summoned? It tried to kill a lot of people....It succeeded, just not with me, did leave me with about a hundred cuts all over my body though." That was the simple truth of that matter, and it was well documented that Amor's alter ego was at the peak after all he was the one who told Rocket that fern delaney had gotten the primal shard.

"But you are not incorrect, if you would rather Miss Naomi Sato free you from your bondage I won't be offended. She is much prettier to look at than I am." It was what it was. "I want to study you to learn more about Avatars, I am sure you are painfully aware of how few are in Rocket, and how outnumbered we are against the League. I know more than the average person about Avatarship, but finding one who is willing to be studied is hard. Perhaps through you I can level our odds against the League." That was also the truth, just not all of it, but even a businessman needed to keep a few secrets.

"I'm assuming the key to your energy stores lies within your blood. To understand how to come up with a work around for you, I will need to take a sample, and study it."

He leans the chair back a bit "That has nothing to do with it, it's mostly of who can give me a better offer. It was like to devils trying to trick the other one into a contract. Perhaps not trick, but entice the other one further to their side, and Amor was enjoying this particular game. A leg up on research, abilities that he hadn't shown Naomi Sato yet. Those things could be key in helping Amor understand Avatar's fully, and use that to aid Rocket further. However what goal did bryan delarosa have for wanting this? A quirk of the brow met the the other mans eyes.

"That would be a boon, but why?" Amor had learned long ago that foreplay with words was boring, and so he usually just cut straight to the heart. "You sound like me, when I'm making a deal with someone...." It was a compliment, but Amor also knew when someone was trying to take advantage of him, and he felt it here. Otherwise there was no point in Bryan trying to use this tactic against him.

Appealing to Amor's ego was certainly one way to get into his good graces, but this put him on guard as he waited for an answer.

You pay me money and agree to help me here and there, and in return I let you research my abilities while you share that information and I vouch for your character since you're still a newbie to the organization.". he offers as he waits to see what it is that Amor asks him in return, wondering how he'd react to his offer.

Amor just stared at the man in front of him blankly for a moment, as if he was mulling over their words. It was the most polite form of extortion he had ever encountered before. At least they didn't try to lie about their motives, but after everything Amor had already been through.

"Why? So you can just up, and vanish on me like everyone else? That is what happens to all claim to want to help me....Lulu Flint, and oscar clayton both vanished in the middle of helping me with my machine that is suppose to rip holes in reality." He frowned. "Do you think after collaborating on my primal nodes, Eva Morales stuck around to try, and further said technology ever again?" His tone didn't raise, or lower he kept it level. "And yet here you are claiming to be different from all of them....? I would like to believe in you, at least you are honest, but the facts are I have no idea what you have already shown Naomi Sato. You could be lying just to double dip in others, which wouldn't be out of character." As if Amor would believe anything he was told.

"If you want compensation for me drawing your blood, and putting you through the ringer that's fine. But I don't need 'friends', frankly the rest of Rocket can think what they want of me. It's not like any of them will actually be there if things go south." That is truly what he believed, he had made it this far basically on his own, there was no need to include unknown variables. "As for helping you, that depends on what you want. I don't write blank checks for favors, only money." He put his foot down there, less there be further conflict in the future.
