Gerald had never thought that he would ever feel bad about an evaluation of any sort. But the SPECTRA evaluations hit hard. They showcased failings that he had never even thought he had.

Sure he didn’t particularly care for Pokemon battles, but he had believed that his strength would make up for any such lack.

But where did he go from there? He had been through the grunt regiment before and clearly that hadn’t been enough. So he requested a personal training session from one THEO BECKETT a Rocket with, from what he had heard, an impeccable reputation and combat results to show. Surely, should Theo decide to deign him with his presence whatever he might teach him would elevate his skill level, right?
