MARCH UPDATE

Another month, another fun little Safari! Vanilla showed the Warden her ticket, alongside an apology for going too long the last time she had come in, and then, it was go time. the gates open as the trainer grabbed her four safari balls and pocketed them. Still running off of the high of her previous Safari, she had a new goal. "I hear that this month, they have this Pokémon called Ralts. They're supposed to be super strong when they're fully evolved, so let's shoot for one!" She cheered, looking at the area in front of her as she'd give a toothy grin at what lied ahead of her. So many possibilities!

"Ready Proxii?"

They had just started when a nearby bush would shake. Goodness, a Pokémon found this early already! The teenager walked over with a Safari Ball in her hand while peeking out from a tree's trunk. The Pokémon in question was a pretty adorable looking one. Its small, lavender petals closing around part of its head as Proxii would pop up and take a small scan of it. The information downloaded into the Pokedex would give its name, a Cherubi. The shape reminded the girl of the cherries she always loved to snack on back home, although the two faces made her wonder what exactly it could have been used for, ecologically.

"Time to snag some cherries." Vanilla crouched down and reeled her arm back, preparing for a throw as the Pokémon would be busy trying to reach for a nearby berry set out to lure Pokémon around them. She'd then toss out a Safari Ball and toss it at the little one, snatching the girl up and collecting her ball.

Cherubi, the Cherry Pokémon. The deeper a Cherubi's red, the more nutrients it has stockpiled in its body. And the sweeter and tastier its small ball! Once the fruit growing alongside the main body is large and plump, Cherubi will use the nutrients within to evolve. The fruit then detaches, becoming nourishment for other creatures.

"Hm, now I'm in the mood for cheery pie all of a sudden." Vanilla said to herself, pocketing the safari ball holding her Cherubi as her search continued. That Ralts had to be out here somewhere, and she was going to find it! The teenager pitter pattered forward into the dense bushes. There were a few other Pokémon skulking around, but none of them were the ones that she had been looking for. Just some more Cherubi and other miscellaneous ones. Her journey took the girl towards the waterbead, where a blue bird had been busy trying to capture some prey of its own. "Oh, a Cramorant! I remember the one that Scotti said Dad had." She said to herself. The Rotomdex popped out to scan it quickly before Vanilla issued a command.

"Electroball!" Proxii would give a twirl, then spit out a fast moving electrical attack towards the Cramorant. It struggled to get up after, paralyzed from the blow as she'd throw a safari ball directly after.

Cramorant, the Gulp Pokémon. This hungry Pokémon swallows Arrokuda whole. Occasionally, it makes a mistake and tries to swallow a Pokémon other than its preferred prey. It's so strong that it can knock out some opponents in a single hit, but it also may forget what it's battling midfight.
