Rather, it is what doesn't seem to fit in such a setting - That being a certain familiar face within this ocean of people.[break][break]

FERNANDO SILPH stands tall, perhaps even 3 inches taller than the tallest person present. Perhaps, that's why he stands out to her. Or perhaps, it's because of that overwhelming sense of curiosity that bubbles from the rambunctious Mimikyu rested upon her shoulder. Whatever it is that draws her in causes her to stick around for a bit longer, to watch the strange, rigid councilman as he interacts with the clamouring crowd.

“A PLEASURE,” is fernando’s way of cutting the conversation after a firm handshake and sufficient small talk. an attendant ‘okay’s the next person in line and the process repeats. shake, introduction, chitchat, goodbyes.

it’s community service he’s familiar with but having it publicized always brings out the weirdest people. but, no matter how weird they may be, none stick out more than those with only one exposed eye.

it elicits a small wave in her direction. a motion for her to approach.

The look that Reiner gives her indicates it's more than likely because of the eyepatch she's adopted whilst staying with Razz Kingsman. But whatever the real reasons may be, she brushes every other thought away, rolling her shoulders back as she ignores the many stares and waves back.[break][break]

Should she really be going up there? Frankly, she kind of just wants to sit back and see what kind of small talk he entertains. Who knows?, She might even hear some gossip that the fans simply want to clarify whether is truth or more lies added to the pile of 'nasty things said about FERNANDO SILPH'. In spite of what she wants, her Mimikyu begins poking her cheeks, vaguely gesturing towards the man -[break][break]

Of course, they must still be miffed about not getting to meet him the last time. It's tough being dragged along by their whimsy at times.[break][break]

Sighing, she finally takes hold of the Mimikyu's claws and pushes it away from her face. Then she'll step up, Reiner following close as he dips his head in greeting.[break][break]

'How are you?' She signs, waiting for either a smooth response or veiled confusion.

the sound of the crowd ballooning up once more helps carry his decision. most of them cannot get enough of Michael Navidson, a charming gym leader who’s earned their hearts through his grizzled look.

“i’m about to get something to eat. would you like to come with me?”

a simple enough ask that’s done in good faith. for not all opportunities must be upfront and obvious. sometimes one must only toss a hoop in the open. like the dugtrios vanishing between different holes, it only takes one success to win a prize.

The Odd Oddish isn't a booth she's had the chance to patronise before, but she'll watch with interest as FERNANDO SILPH orders... a corn dog with no dog? Is that just cornmeal batter fried through and through? Well, that doesn't sound as bad as what Razz Kingsman bought the last time he'd been at the fair.[break][break]

'Interesting choice.' Comes the remark, barely enough time yielded to reinforcing the thought with some kind of perplexed expression before she needs to write down her order for the cashier. A simple corn cup with no butter on top. Each kernel is boiled to perfection, the sweetness dancing upon her tongue as she chews.[break][break]

Reiner turns his head at the offer of corn, but her Mimikyu is more than happy to grab the spoon when its offered. It's quite the miracle that they don't knock the cup right out of her hands with how wildly they rush for a bite. Oh well, a free hand lets her put thoughts into words.[break][break]
