[attr="class","sam-banner-up-blurb"]Though Emerson would be loathe to admit it, he didn’t immediately miss the tablet that had been stolen. At one point in the few days that had followed Sen’s departure from his place he’d thought about scrolling on it rather than his laptop, but when it didn’t immediately turn up where he thought he’d last left it, Em was quick to give up. It must’ve been somewhere else in his apartment, and he was far too lazy to actually get up. And by the time he had, the thought was a long forgotten one.

No, it wasn’t until a post popped up on his twitter that Emerson’s realization came crashing in. He had definitely not been the one to post that. Using his porygon-z, and some extensive diagnostics, it was relatively easy to trace the location, and what tech it had come from. But where had it gone?

He tore apart his house, which only confirmed that the tablet was nowhere to be found. Which meant that the last person who had been there apart from him had taken it. Which meant that his last ditch belief that the Sen he’d met was a different Sen wasn’t true after all.

This was Blossom, alright.

Fuming, he stabbed at the messenger icon on his desktop until it popped open. Rather than just type his ranting out, he slapped the video call button next, then did a little key combination to override the need for approval on the opposing end. A video chat popped open, Emerson’s face bright red and frustrated appearing on Sen’s screen. In all of his frazzled, tousled hair glory.

The universe was laughing. At him, with him? He couldn't really tell. Though, fuck... if only he had known that the pretty redhead he'd just gotten with was none other than @lockedown, things might have gone down differently. Though, despite everything, it didn't change much, did it? Despite every urge to turn this into actual hell for the other hacker, he let it sit. For a while, at least. Of course, not without eventually letting the other in on the butt of the joke. (For once, it wasn't him).

At first, it was subtle, like signing him up for hot milfs in the area. Then, the post announcing that he does, in fact, have a nice ass. Despite the opportunity, he wasn't feeling too vicious. Lockedown, or Em, should really feel grateful that even Sen Hasegawa could show a degree of mercy. It felt too easy to veer into the lane of going too far and taking advantage of the other, but he could still have a little fun with him.

Still, he probably should have expected the impromptu facetime. It still managed to catch him off guard when it overrided his permissions and accepted the call despite every intention of leaving him hanging. Even then, it was somehow worth it just to see him red-faced and frazzled. It was annoying that he was cute though. Lockedown was supposed to be a greasy gamer living in his parent's basement, goddamn it.

Emerson sat there on the edge of his couch, knees bouncing with the steady hum of nerves and irritation. The spam emails made sense, the post itself had made everything all perfectly clear. Even if he’d managed to get it taken down, it had still sat there. Causing speculation. Making people think.

Despite his annoyance and anger, as soon as Sen’s face appeared on his own screen, Em felt his stomach drop at the sight of him. Which only incensed the redhead further. No, no. It was unfair that he still looked good. How come the knowledge that he was Sen couldn’t immediately uglify him in Emerson’s eyes?

What kinda garbage was that?

And of course, Sen barely took a breath before the teasing began. In spite of himself, he could feel the lick of heat creeping up his neck, worsening the color in his face. Though maybe better disguising a mark on his throat that had been annoying persistent about not fading. It had made Em feel that much more mutinous in the moment.

“Don’t call me that,” Em hissed back, with all of the vitriol of a kid getting teased on the playground, so…not much. It was almost whiny, his sulkiness amplifying. “You know what this is about.” His arms folded across his chest, eyes fixing on the tiny camera at the top of the screen. “I want my tablet back, you ass.”

Somehow, this was just getting better and better. He had to mentally check if it was actually his birthday or not. It was not, but it might as well have been. There was a certain kind of power in this situation, not that he was going to be overt in his attempt to exact it. There was a boundary that even he hesitated to make, even with this brat.

The longer this went on, the more pleased Sen seemed to grow. “Shut up! he practically screeched the words, voice rising in pitch. Mostly because he was trying to ignore the way that nickname bolted straight through him even now.

The flush on his face turned an uglier shade, rivaling his hair as he sputtered in disbelief. “What? No!” Emerson gawked at the screen, and he wanted to throttle this guy with his smug face and his sharp blue eyes, and those hands— wait, eugh, nO!

“We never once exchanged names until after. You have an obnoxiously high opinion of yourself if you think I went out of my way to look you up and track you down to whatever bar you’re at just to get laid,” he seethed. He really could reach through the camera if it were possible.
Poke him in his stupid blue eyeballs.

That’d show him.

“You…you were just as into it!” Em jabbed a finger at the camera before crossing his arms again in a huff. “So I should be asking you the same thing.”

Seeing emerson steadily grow unhinged was a pleasure in its own right. Maybe Sen was being a little cruel at this point. It was almost too easy, so it hardly felt like sport. It felt like playing games. Sure, Emerson had done enough to make his life hell in the past, what with the routine break-ins and cyber-attacks. It had been annoying, but this felt somehow more personal.

After all, he had seen the other in an entirely different light. It definitely would have been better if Em was just some other greasy computer nerd. He had to go and be hot while also being fucking annoying. Granted, in person without bias, he'd not been too terrible. It was almost funny that Sen could drive anyone insane, just by knowing his online presence. For a moment though, they'd gotten along. Sure, it just was a hookup, but it was a good one.

"I mean, you have proven in the past to be fairly good at hacking. So, really, I wouldn't be so surprised if that turned to real life stalking. I'd be fucking flattered though, really." He teased, relentless as always.

Sen snorted at that. Em thought he had him in a bind. It was true, but he wasn't bothered by it. "I mean, damn... had I known? I would've been nicer to get in your pants sooner." He grinned, "Turns out, you prefer me mean. Pretty bossy, yourself. Surprisingly."

[attr="class","sam-banner-up-blurb"]Emerson flared up further, cheeks puffing out before he let out a frustrated breath. “I would not do that! It’s completely different from hacking.” He wasn’t freakin’ creep. His head turned away, refusing to look at Sen for a moment. “Besides, I wouldn’t choose you to creep on, even if I was.” Honestly, how much ego did this guy have??

It seemed like more than enough to keep right on trucking. “Do you ever shut up?” he squeaked out in a rage, immediately annoyed that he still sounded more embarrassed and flustered than he did imposing. Amber eyes turned on Sen again, fixing on the tiny camera lens as his lips pressed together petulantly.

“I don’t believe that for a second!” A nice Sen? Impossible. He conveniently left out the thought that Sen hadn’t been so bad the other night. They’d gotten along, even. As much as two drunk, horny people were capable of getting along—barring the flirting and hooking up bits.

“Why should that be surprising?” It was all bluster, of course. He knew it was because outside of the bedroom, he was no more than a skittish dormouse. But that didn’t mean Sen got to have the last word.

Except it sorta did because this was seriously putting Em off his game. “Just give me my stuff back, okay??” He sounded shrill, like a mad kid on the playground fighting over a toy with someone else. It was embarrassing and annoying.

But also sort of disappointing too, wasn’t it? It’d been a nice thought at first, thinking that he’d managed to meet someone he wouldn’t have minded having something fun with. It had been a good time, whether he wanted to admit it or not. A really good time. So much for that.

By this point, after multiple annoyances caused by this bastard, the last thing he should have been doing was provoking him. Sen liked to think himself capable in hacking, but admittedly Em was better. He knew it, even if he'd be damned before he ever admit to it. Sure, he was sneakier in the end, but that only went so far. He was practically begging to get fucked over, and not in a good way.

But he was addicted to the opportunity that this shitstorm had brought him. It gave him an excuse to pester the other, even if it bit him in the ass in the end. Even more so, he liked seeing that crimson blush on the other's face, matching that scarlet hair.

"Well you put enough effort into it, I'm sure you can make me shut up." He shrugged. Though that was a big no go. No matter how much he might have liked to repeat that mistake, it would only lead to a much bigger mistake.

[attr="class","sam-banner-up-blurb"]He really didn't know where this guy got off. It was like he was practically asking on his knees to have all of his systems wiped, and corrupted. (He pointed ignored the afterthought that there were better things Sen could be on his knees for.) Emerson, though, was terrible at this sort of face off. He could work in the background with terrible efficiency.

But charm and snappy come backs?

He was too miserably awkward to be quick with those.

Maybe if he hadn't used the webcam, and kept it to typing he would've fared a bit better. Belatedly, he began to kick himself.

And Sen seemed to sense that weakness like a shark smelling blood in the water. What did he get from this anyway, Em wondered, except some sick sense of entertainment?

His cheeks puffed with an unspent breath of frustration, and he deliberately looked away from the webcam as he stewed over what was suggested of him. Though his head didn't turn back toward Sen, after an elogated moment, his glance slid back sideways. Sullen, but bright amber eyed the lousy, stupid, hot man as Emerson's pride got thrown out on the stretcher. His lips set in a huffy pout.

Nothing he'd said, or would say would work, except- "....please?"

That sweet little sound was like music to his ears. He smiled something wicked and resisted every urge to push his luck. It wouldn't do well to push until he regretted his decision. Emerson was clearly a capable hacker. Maybe even a little better than Sen, just a tiny bit. Totally insubstantially small level of skill. Not that it mattered. He liked having the power in... other regards.

"Okay, baby. I won't leave you begging. I'm not cruel after all." At least not unless it suited him. He knew boundaries when he saw it and he'd be pushing his luck if he wasn't careful.

With a little cheeky wink, he added. "Where we going? Your place or mine?" As if it was even implied that there would be anything more than handing over the tablet. One could hope though and he was feeling a certain kinda way today. So a man could hope.
