Evan’s was your average young trainer, he was wild, full of energy, and a downright wildfire of adrenaline and testosterone. He fought the gyms, he traveled through his home region of Kanto, he did it all baby! Well, he never managed to complete the victory road, but that's besides the point! He became a member of the Kanto Biker Society! He rode for many charities! He smoked twenty packs a day, he was on the top of the world, and could never see it end!

Until it did. Suddenly, he found his lifestyle unable to truly continue past a certain point. He got older, slower, and eventually simply stopped, hung up his riding leathers and helmet, and simply got on with life. He got a job, not a glorious one, but he was a pencil pusher for one of Team Rocket's shell companies, not that he was aware of course. His faithful Houndour stood by his side through thick and thin, man’s best friend and all that.

He worked in that pencil pusher position for a full decade of his life. He got good at it, made friends, even was recommended by his boss for a position higher up in the company… Well, eventually he sort of realized what his life had become. No longer was he no longer the burning rubber ‘Roads Evans’ he knew of his youth, and he started to wonder, did he waste his life?

And then his Houndour died of old age.

He buried that dog with the full honors it deserved in Lavender town, with his starter and childhood friend’s only offspring by his side. He decided then and there, ‘Roads’ had yet to have his true time in the spotlight.

He broke out his old riding leathers, he redid his piercings, he got his old gear and set out with his Houndour right on his center Console. He left a note at his workplace and hasn’t look back since arriving in Hoenn. A fresh region, a fresh start!
