Time is... Relative, a concept, an arbitrary way to measure the moment's of one's life.

But when time has gone, disappeared, and you're left with what's essentially a new timer that's started back from zero, what do you do? Yuina's life started over again from square one when she arrived in Petalburg City, with no knowledge of who she was, where she was from, or even if Yuina is her real name. She's managed to make a meager living since then, but someone can't just start their life over and not wonder what their life was before? It's a plauging question, an impossibly heavy sense of loss to carry, but when the only option is to keep moving forward...

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

• Yuina Higashi currently lives in Mauville City
• As of March 2024, her work and exhibits have been moved to The Natural Museum of Natural History in Slateport, where she is a leading expert in Hisuian History, including the study and translation of the language, Hisuian Native Pokemon and other concepts. Still many credits within her exhibit are given to howard slayte
• Yuina Higashi is an Elite Ranger and stays fairly involved in many things going on through the region. She is not assigned to one particular post, and can be found or contacted in just about any part of Hoenn

LEAGUE KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION

• Yuina's contributions to the League Organization thus far include (not limited to): Extractions in Ultra Deep Sea, testing of the RKS Simulation, an avid Operative in the Resurfaced Treasures battle on route 105, missions to the ultra wilds, assistanace during the Kyurem attack, Excursions to Area Zero, and investigating new instances during Poison Patrol, aiding in the escape of Prismatic Penitentiary, and maintaining the southern perimeter of Mossdeep Island during The First Wave.
• As of November 2023 Yuina has been inducted as a Ranger and promoted to Elite Ranger by Head Ranger ollie morales
• The highest members of the league council including freya morningstar, ollie morales, and illeana reyes are aware that Yuina is assumed to be a target of The Drk Triad, and the Naganadel that she harbors was sent by 'The White Haired Lady' to seek her out
• Yuina works closely with Melody Miro now on the Pokemon H.O.M.E Project, specifically in her studies of displaced Pokemon and their impacts on the environment. Hisuian Pokemon and Paradox Pokemon are her main focus as a part of the project
• Any League representative that was present during the events of Prismatic Penitentiary may be aware that the Pokemon Celebi has allied itself with Yuina and now remains with her
• Yuina has refused to volunteer for the AQUA SAPPHIRE division in regards to her relationship with Celebi
• The entirety of the AQUA council is now aware that Yuina is not only a target of the Drk Triad, but someone of interest to them, someone who could be working for or with them. The council is also aware of her memory loss, and her living for a period of time in the past, in Hisui.

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION

• While none of them might know her name, Yuina fought and stood up against many rockets in the battle for Resurfaced Treasures, she was not important, nor were her battles significant, but she might now be a face that a handful of them could recognize as part of the Ranger Organization
• While she has not explicitly identified herself as a part of the league, Yuina is well acquainted with rocket operatives like Tempest Quinn, howard slayte, and Naomi Sato. Nomi is aware that Yuina has a particular interest and perhaps a tie to Time-Space distortions, and Temp and Howard are aware and assisting in studying and learning about distortions, namely tracking and finding as many as they can
• One of the Unown that worked with Naomi Sato chose to leave with Yuina during an expedition into Lesser Megalopolis for reasons yet to be discerned
• Any Rocket representative that was present during the events of Prismatic Penitentiary may be aware that the Pokemon Celebi has allied itself with Yuina and now remains with her
• Naomi Sato is aware that Yuina is a target of the Drk Triad, specifically the white haired lady. bryan delarosa is aware that she is a person of interest to them, not a target. ameena abadi, Lulu Flint, fern delaney are aware that not only does Celebi still ally itself with Yuina, she has a connection or power to time-space distortions, but denies being an avatar.
  

PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE

PERSONAL SECRETS

• Yuina has no memories of anything beyond waking up outside of Petalburg City in the late summer of 2023. Yuina has learned that she was lost to a Time-Space Distortion and lived for a short while in Hisui centuries ago. This is where she was given her name Yuina Higashi, and where she captured the Hisuian Pokemon that she trains with. Her past is a mystery to her, but Yuina fears deep down that she did terrible things and that the compelling feeling to be in the Ranger Organization and do all of these 'good' things is a way to absolve herself of... Things she is not aware of.
• Now doing everything that she can to learn about distortions, Yuina is aware that... Something may be the reason why she was lost to the distortion, this comes from the events of Blood Mud Iron and the more recent Time-Space Distortion #16 and #17. She has not yet found what calls out to her or reasons why she was erased from her past life in this way, but she is avidly seeking answers by finding every distortion that she can
• Her memory loss and the life she lived in Hisui is her most heavily guarded secret. Thus far only John Sullivan, DESIREE BLOOMS, Josh Devlin, and ollie morales are the only individuals who are aware of what's happened to her.
• Given the events of 'Father Winter 2', Yuina regained most of the memories of her time in Hisui, including her survival practices, the people she knew in Jubilife village, and other vivid memories of that not so far away past
• Yuina has lied to the league council, that she has no idea why she would be a target of The Drk Triad. Though she doesn't have any solid ideas herself, she can only assume that it has something to do with her past life, if she was involved with them somehow before
• Yuina is aware that her name in her past is Alexandria Cander. She has not yet taken action to seek information on who she used to be, as she fears now more than ever who she used to be, and knowing that there are portions of the league who do condemn those with 'a past'. This coupled with knowing she has actively made it more difficult by building such strong relationships as Yuina Higashi, this part of her doesn't want to upend this new life.
• Yuina has been given a vision by Celebi from the events of Prismatic Penitentiary: DAHLIA GOODE stands beside YUINA HIGASHI. There may be others around, but Yuina can not see them in this limited perspective. Dahlia looks visibly shaken, for she is splattered in blood... and Yuina is too. In the periphery, Yuina sees a body in a black gown on the ground before a hot breath descends upon her.
  She raises her hand—and it rests upon a draconic, dark-blue crest.

• Yuina's real name is Alexandria Cander, she was born in Virbank City, Unova to a lazy deadbeat of a father and an absent cheating mother
• Her parents were never married, and never planned on having children. Her being born was merely an accident that was never reconciled. Her father never lifted a finger for her and did anything he could to keep to his selfish ways, and her mother never wanted to be a mother, and so did everything she could to stay out of the house with friends and parties.
• When Alexandria was four, her mother was expecting again, and it came to light that she was entirely unfaithful and was giving birth to another man's baby. Alexandria's father left the picture entirely, and left Alexandria and her expecting mother to fend for themselves.
• Years later, Alexandria is the primary care giver to her three siblings while her mother, who since has been making an honest effort to provide for her children, has been working, while her new husband remains absent with work and a gambling addiction that only takes from the household funds.
• Becoming a degenerate teenager as many could have expected, Alexandria did little to propel herself forward in the ways of schooling or other proper activities. Instead she turned to theft in order to start trying to provide for her mother and her siblings since their 'father' was not contributing.
• Soon theft turned into Pokemon theft, which turned into selling stolen Pokemon, which eventually turned into a fruitful and thriving career of poaching, trafficking, and hunting rare and desirable Pokemon.
• Making enough money to tear her mother and siblings away from the degen gambler that did nothing but take from her family, Alexandria did well to set her mother up long term so that she could finally make an honest living, before setting her sights on the Hoenn Region where it had been said that plenty of rare and valuable Pokemon were known to be.
• Spending some time in the Hoenn Region to start learning about what made the region so special, Alexandria caught wind of 'time-space' distortions that were said to bring impossibly rare Pokemon. When she successfully located a time-space distortion for herself to begin a hunt, she was lost to the distortion and lost everything in her memory up to waking up outside of Petalburg City.
