Petalburg Woods at night was beautiful, at least to him. He felt he could lose himself in the nighttime scenery of the woods. If he wasn't on a mission, he would take the chance to stroll through the woods. However, since he was on a time crunch, he made a note to come back another night to take in the scenery.

Upon reaching the meeting point, he was surprised to find that his partner had beaten him. He was usually early, so being beaten by his partner was strange. He had taken a bit longer to set out to make two thermoses of coffee. They would be in for a long night, and coffee would give them the energy they needed to stay awake.

"You should be careful about letting your guard down," he said, walking over and looking down at her. Although it could be considered a reprimand, his voice was completely emotionless, which probably took away the effect of his words.

Sitting down, he placed the two thermoses of coffee on the ground. "Anyway, I'm Ever, your mission partner," he introduced himself, unsure if she had been told his name or not.[break] @astrid
