She then seemed to come closer and then came into his eyesight and then made eye contact with him and sat down with him. She had green hair which he thought was a little usual but nothing too crazy. Zorrow was now on the ground. "Names Zorow" he said introducing himself of course using his alias as he had ties to a ranger by using his actual name and didn't want drama.

He smiled at him and petted him feeding him some of the Pokémon food from his hand which the Pokémon liked better he had finished his food. Next though he needed to feed his picky eater. He opened up a pokeball bringing out his Solrock sol. Who was a very picky eater. "Alright sol try this recipe" he said trying the food with the Pokémon it was a mix of sweet and spicy berries as well as protein for psychic types. But again, it only took one bite then sent him flying a little with an attack. "Come on it shouldn't be that bad" he said sighing. He was irritated with sol. What food would he want if he didn't want that kind.

While others might sit together for lunch or even have their Pokemon keep them company, Shizue often just chose to go alone. It was more expedient. She did not have to spend longer on eating than necessary that way. And besides, most grunts were idiots. There were only a handful of people in this base that she could have a fruitful conversation with. At least that was her opinion. Admittedly, the sample size was small. Yet, each she tried only reinforced the notion. It was mayhap a bit unscientific in the end. But she did not truly consider it a problem, still. At the end of the day, this was about effort. And as long as it did not feel worth it to expend effort, she simply would not.

But that did not mean that she would outright ignore these people. The green-haired woman in her lab-coat simply did not seek them out specifically. But she did not run from them, either. Just like this time: given that most tables were full, she had to find one already half occupied. Ultimately, she chose a quiet one. The boy sitting there did seem to be the quiet type and he was disciplining his Pokemon to behave. That was good enough. Shizue simply walked up to Brice’s table, briefly stopped when she was close enough to be acknowledged, then seated herself. She, too, was the quiet type. And if he did not voice any objections, then sitting down was fine. Hence, she would start with her meal right away. There was no point in trying to strike up anything on her own, she reckoned. Though she would not be opposed to replying, either.

“Murasaki Shizue,” she simply replied. Giving her name was no big deal, really. Especially here in Rocket. She never gave too much about secrecy, as she was fairly up-front about herself. She had come to Hoenn and had started living with Rocket right away, so keeping her dientiy a secret would be foolish enough. Though, she did sometimes go out under an alias. Not that it helped too much given her somewhat striking looks.

At the end of the day, she just was not an actor. Nor was she too much of a social animal. Hence he got a name in response, but otherwise she continued to nibble on her sandwich. She was not a fast eater either, though. Instead, she tried to eat consciously and observe her surroundings. Which, in this case, included Zorrow – an obvious alias, at least to her – feeding his Pokemon. The first one, she did not care too much about. However, he soon tried to feed a rock. That was moderately interesting, so her eyes fixated on that display. It was difficult to feed rock types and the like due to their diets. It probably paid to observe and watch what they liked to eat. She didn’t have one, after all. And she did not care one iota that she was kind of staring there. If he did not want to be watched, he should not do it in public.

[attr="class","inner-finally"]He grunts as he gets up from hitting the wall going over to the food trying to give it to Zorrow and he liked it. "Sometimes Sol I feel like you enjoy being cruel" he said to his solrock. He had trained him to be an emotionless machine with harsh and sometimes possibly borderline illegal ways. But he sometimes seemed more like he enjoyed being cruel. He sighed as his pokemon suddenly started to eat the food. "See you just prove my point you wanted to throw me into the wall" he said sighing at the pokemon. He then noticed the girl introduce herself. "So how long you been in team rocket" he said trying to start conversation which he wasn't really super great at.

Then one of the higher ups sent him a pokemon who he hadn't received yet as someone came over handing him a pokeball saying they were supposed to deliver it. He then sent out the pokemon it was a Purrlion. Another dark type that could cause me trouble great he thinks. "Lepi" he said as the pokemon looked at him. He had randomly come up with it and female purrloin looked at him liking the name. "I guess that's what I'll call you" he said.

Cruel? Oh, he was talking to his Pokemon. She never understood how people could treat Pokemon like, well, people. They were animals. They weren’t cruel or nice, or anything like that. They just acted on instinct and did what they wanted to or needed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, aside from the actually intelligent Pokemon, of course. She had met deities of sorts, after all. Considering those to be animals would simply be wrong. But your common Solrock? That was just, well, rock.

Shizue had briefly raised a brow but returned to the conversation proper when the other clearly addressed her instead of this Pokemon. “Me? Well, it depends on your definition. I have been affiliated for years. But I have only officially joined about two years ago due to certain happenstances.” That probably was a good enough answer. Rocket was a place for people without anywhere else to go as much as anything else. She figured he would understand as much. Plus, their conversation was interrupted anyway as she watched someone bring the man a Pokemon. That was…unusual. “It seems that you have some kind of benefactor, then.” Sure, she was given Pokemon all the time to experiment on. But this was not that. It was different, so someone was just giving this man an unexpected gift, which was odd.

[attr="class","inner-finally"]After he was handed the pokeball and he listened to the girls answer he said "perhaps my dad arranged it he's been in team rocket for years" he said. He pets Lepi his new partner and the cat purred as he smiled under his mask. "My dad has been a member of team rocket for years so it may be from that i have no idea though" he said to be honest he wasnt sure if he wanted to stay in team rocket. He wasnt about to give out his dads name though due to his mother's name being associated with it.

He didnt want trouble if people found out who his mother was. Sol was soon done eating and just floated near by his trainer he was truly a pokemon that loved hurting other pokemon but he would only do so when on duty. So he slightly had some restraint. "Or it could have been from my first mission i have no idea though. I didnt expect this" he said as he looked at the new dark type that had joined him and sol as part of his team rocket pokemon. He watches the new cat as it still seeks to be pet.

Ah, so this man was one of those that had been in Rocket through family relations. Shizue could not say that she could, well, relate. Hence, she just shrugged. As far as she knew, her family did not have a lot of connection to the organization, aside from potential business ties. It was difficult to do too well in that region without at least running into Rocket. But she had not had noticed anything in particular back in the day.

And not now, either. Mostly because there was next to no contact. They were the kind of family that had grown estranged due to emotional cold. No hard feelings at all, but no interest to change anything, either. Which was fine by her, really. But she was aware that she potentially was doing something wrong there, in a way.

There just was no way to change that. “I can’t say anyone ever sent me any Pokemon. Well, outside of research purposes,” she guessed. Though she had once sent away a specimen she did not need to fulfill an outside obligation. But that was neither here nor there. “It still is a bit suspicious. You should at least make sure that ownership was properly transferred. Pretty common tactic to hurt others: sneak in some Pokemon they think they now own, but that turn on them quickly enough.” Just having the ball in hand didn’t mean much for a Pokemon’s loyalty, after all. Every grunt learned that on their first mission, really.

[attr="class","inner-finally"]Lepi hissed at the girl's accusation of it not being loyal to its new owner as Bryce giggled "well looks like someone disagrees with you" he smiled as he pet the dark type. Who already was proving it was loyal to her new owner. As sol watched over his shoulder. "But your right best to check out if its pokeball really has been registered to me" he said. Which he would do after he was done with his lunch.

He then got up from the table "well if you wish you can come with me or you can stay here" he said to the girl. As he got up to go figure out if the pokemon was truly registered to him. As he returned sol, and Lepi fallowed him happily. He wondered if the girl would come with or if this was where they would part ways. As he didnt really have any other business with her he didnt expect her to even be interested in coming with him but he had indeed left it open as an option.
