Wandering the route known for it's fair share of peculiar pokemon, Ryoto watched his Tinkaton hum to herself, eager to whack something with her giant steel hammer. In the meantime, her trainer was thinking to himself about the next big heist. What he sought on this route were at least one of two pokemon in particular, Zorua and Ditto. Having learned they have been spotted in the area in the past, he aimed on getting both. Though, both unlikely to appear just because he willed it, Ryoto remained optimistic. Their powers alone would make his greatest heist to date all that more realistic.

The rustle of a bush caught both Ryoto and Bonky's attention, their heads turning in sync. Emerging was a Dubwool, clearly wary of the strangers. Ryoto's Tinkaton almost immediately raised her hammer, tempted to smash the Dubwool's head in. However, before she could realize this reality, the Dubwool ran off. Given it wasn't a pokemon that interested Ryoto, he made no attempts to pursue it. Fortunately, it wasn't a particularly aggressive pokemon, otherwise a fight would have been unavoidable.

With the initial concern having passed, Ryoto would continue along the route, until passing by a small pond. This pond however small it was, was not empty. With a squint, he could make out the silhouette of what looked like...a Crawdaunt? Knowing how territorial they could be after running into one in Galar, he quietly guided his Tinkaton in the opposite direction, knowing she'd probably be too eager for a game of whack-a-crawdaunt.

With the day coming to an end, no Ditto in sight, the thief let out a sigh. He knew it was an unlikely run-in, especially with how good they are at hiding. That ability of theirs was part of the reason he wanted one. Tinkaton, a tad let down she hadn't the chance to bonk anything, would soon find a challenger. Emerging from the tall grass, was a stray Pawniard, a menacing glare in their eyes. Placing a hand on another Pokeball, Ryoto was immediately put on guard, while even his Tinkaton hesitated.

[break][break]What followed was a clash of steel, Tinkaton bashing against the Pawniard's blades, sending it back towards a tree. Like a soldier, though cast astray from his comrades, keeps moving forward. Ryoto kept a sharp eye on their movements, careful not to let Bonky tire herself out before she could subdue the Pawniard. In the end though, no matter how determined the Pawniard was, it was difficult to go head-to-head against a Tinkaton waving a giant steel hammer. While weakened, Ryoto would shift hands off one of his own Pokemon and move to a spare Pokeball on his belt. He'd then toss it at the Pawniard, for it to then be captured, followed by the silent moments in which Ryoto waited to see if it settled.
