The sun was finally rising, and with it, the horizon's true colors began to paint themselves across the canvas of the skies. Oracelies found herself at the beach to pray to her goddess, the sea and its effervescent quirks- to her, it was the great one, the ever-prosperous one that connected all. Allowing the soft early-morning tide to crash against her body, her lower half submerged in the wet sand, she spoke to herself within her prayer.[break][break]

"I thank you for the protection you granted me during the events that unfolded at the resurfaced island, the gift you bestowed unto me in exchange for those I had sacrificed in your name," she spoke softly, the waves beginning to kick up due to both of the Gyarados's tails thrashing around her, resting ashore, ".. I will continue to do anything and everything to allow you to remain pure, even as my wounds heal." It had not bothered her that she had slaughtered rockets in cold blood that day, she saw it as a great cleansing, forcibly removing those that plagued the waters from existence. There was no redemption for them in her eyes, only a fate of sinking into the body of the great one, never to kiss the surface again.[break][break]

Their lack of love and explicit fondness for chaos was enough for her to consider it just. Picking herself up from the waves crushing shells into sand, she began on a coastal walk beside both of her Gyarados, the waves continuing to crash against her legs.
