Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki is a young League officer who possesses a flagrant disregard for protocol and a penchant for violence. Rough, rude, and frankly dangerous to be around, her prickly attitude and aversion to people tends to create tension more often than not. When it comes to pokemon and children, however, she is exceedingly easy to get along with, which may come as a surprise to those who don't know her. Her trust is hard to earn, but she is intensely loyal to those she cares about.

Although she has yet to graduate high school, she is a self-taught expert in identifying, reproducing, and alleviating the effects of various poisons, toxins, and venoms. She possesses a wide knowledge of toxicology, botany, and pharmacology for her lack of schooling, and although she possesses no formal education in those fields, she could be considered a promising young expert. This is due mainly to her practical experience with her preferred type of pokemon, being a self-proclaimed Poison-specialist who chooses them because they "remind [her] of death".

For these talents and her proficiency in battle despite her young age, Tsubaki is considered a valuable enough asset in the League that her impulsive actions haven't yet caught up with her and tend to be overlooked.

Not much is known about Tsubaki's life before she came to Hoenn aside from the fact that she is a refugee from Kanto. Her only surviving relative is her biological father, who is still located in the war-torn region.

Tsubaki is originally from Kanto.

Poison-type Specialist, with an Arbok as her ace.

Lived in Dewford for six months after arriving in Hoenn, working for Michael Navidson as a private detective and then a junior deputy.

Currently lives in Evergrande City working for freya morningstar as an administrative assistant, though she travels quite a bit.

After her participation in the battle for Granite Cave (Postdormitum), Tsubaki became a member of the League.

Was present in Route 120 when a series of legendary pokemon battled each other there (Goodbye Galar - Sword).

Gives off the general impression of a punk or a delinquent, though she takes on mostly straight-laced jobs. Has worked side-gigs as a bodyguard, however.

Has engaged heavily with the Ultra Deep Sea. With the entrance located underneath Dewford Town, both her home and the site of a major battle in April 2023 after she arrived in Hoenn, this is hardly surprising.

Tsubaki volunteers for HOME on the weekends.

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION

Likes using the alias Camellia, though it's just her name in a different language.

Currently works as an intern for freya morningstar , aiding her as an administrative assistant while she continues her schooling.

Plans on continuing to post-secondary education when she graduates, at the insistence of Michael Navidson .

With the help of one Michael Navidson , Tsubaki was finally able to escape the war-torn Kanto region in early April 2023. Working as a private detective in Slateport at the time, Navy took her under his wing and made her his junior detective.

When the assault on Dewford occurred in April 2023, Tsubaki was present and participated in the battle.

Was personally given a letter of recommendation by dahlia goode for her contribution in the battle for Granite Cave (Postdormitum), after which she joined the League. She has quickly proven herself in that time.

When Michael Navidson became Dewford's Gym Leader and Dewford Town's Sheriff following the events of the same battle, Tsubaki relocated to the small island town as his senior deputy, a title which she still technically holds to this day.

In September 2023, Tsubaki relocated to Evergrande city to pursue her education and work as an intern for freya morningstar , aiding her as an adminstrative assistant. According to Tsubaki, this has nothing at all to do with the fact that Navy called in a favor.

Has a bit of a reputation for being rough around the edges, willing to bend the rules if she disagrees with them. This is a trait she shares with her mentor, Michael Navidson . Even so, she absolutely hates those that are willing to kill or harm others, and will return their efforts in kind.

Her heavy involvement in the Ultra Deep Sea is widely known. Has participated in multiple conflicts involving Eternatus (Postdormitum; Goodbye Galar) and Ultra Space (Blood, Mud, and Iron), and lived in Dewford Town for six months where the effects of the Ultra Deep Sea constantly affected the town. Has participated in Extraction multiple times as well.

Has in turn been warned by several members of the League to stay away from the Ultra Deep Sea. It is known that she experiences adverse psychological effects there, and this is supposedly the reason she moved to Evergrande City.

Council members may know that Tsubaki was a former Team Rocket member, and participated in the amnesty program thanks to Michael Navidson when recruited. This is unknown to Tsubaki herself, she still believes nobody in the League knows.

A civilian who came to Hoenn in April 2023 and quickly joined the League.

She has earned a bit of notoriety as a brutally violent League officer who has terrorized Rockets in various flashpoints across the region since her arrival in Hoenn.

Connections to Dewford Gym Leader Michael Navidson and League Councilwoman freya morningstar .

Kanto Rockets, current or former, may recognize her as a defector on sight. She has mostly avoided this so far, by blind luck. Prior code name was Camellia. Yes, she re-uses it, nothing else hits in the same way.

PERSONAL SECRETS

Michael Navidson , Kouji Matsubara , & Tempest Quinn know that Tsubaki is a former member of Team Rocket. So do League council members.

She is particularly tight-lipped about the extent of her involvement in Kanto's Team Rocket.

Most of the pokemon that Tsubaki uses are pokemon that were kidnapped by Team Rocket, whom Tsubaki subsequently rescued and rehabilitated. Many of them are those she stole when she defected. She also procured her Key Stone and a series of Mega Stones at that time.

Secretly an avid music fan, and was a huge fan of Melody Miro before she met her.

Thought of Melody Miro as a sister during the twenty years of Goodbye Galar, though because Melody's memories are missing she mourns her as if the woman she knew is dead.

Her experience in Goodbye Galar gave her the relatively stable home life she's never had. She's been chasing that ever since.

Melody Miro knows that Tsubaki doesn't volunteer for HOME of her own free will, being blackmailed by her into performing community service.

It is generally unknown that Tsubaki continues to travel to the Ultra Deep Sea even after promising multiple people she would not. howard slayte is aware of this.
