MEGAHORN slams into the woobat, strong enough to pin it against the ground which helps salamence's FLAMETHROWER find the GREAT TUSK.

"i'm so tired," he admits under his breath but loud enough for his admin to hear.

so the show of care is appreciated, though it quickly fades in favor of the sudden HATRED he feels.

unable to direct it at any one source in particular, it spreads like wildfire. "don't touch me," he says as he slaps jayden's hand away, stepping away to approach his salamence.

the MEGA BAND around his shoulder continues to glow, prolonging the MEGA EVOLUTION in the most dangerous of ways. salamence continues to breathe a FLAMETHROWER that intensifies, turning orange and red to aqua.

it felt like years since it had been like this.

[break][break] but then, as rocket's underboss advances on him and although no steps are made towards him, jayden suddenly feels small. like he was when he was a child, and executive THEO BECKETT had ordered him to commit his first crime. and when THEO BECKETT tried to murder him in cold blood.

[break][break] all for sins that weren't his own. an inheritance that he had never asked for.

[break][break] in other ways, he had never asked for this either.
