Victor Haas is a Kantonian refugee who has spent the last six years living as a transient in Hoenn. A recent widower, he rarely lingers in one place in the region for too long, trying to stay one step ahead of whatever the next disaster is that's going to take place. The following information is what can be gleaned from a search of publicly available records, including birth certificates, financial records, social networking services, company websites, and obituaries.

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

• Victor Haas was born on November 7th, 1991
• He is the only child of Felix and Angela Haas, a banker and housewife respectively
• A native of Lavender Town, he spent most of his life in the city until the Rocket takeover of Kanto
• Left for Johto in the fall of 2009 to pursue a college education
• Graduated from a college in Ecruteak City in the spring of 2013. Majored in journalism with a concentration in magazine media, and a double minor in journalistic storytelling and folklore
• Married Naomi Sonozaki, a resident of Ecruteak City, in 2014
• Moved with his wife back to Lavender Town and began work for a small tabloid newspaper called The Looking Glass in the winter of 2014
• The majority of his articles feature alleged accounts of the paranormal or supernatural
• Fled Lavender Town with his wife and their two Pokemon in August of 2017, just narrowly escaping the Rocket takeover
• Has not maintained a permanent address since moving to Hoenn, but does have a P.O. Box based out of Slateport City
• His wife passed in late December 2022

• For those in law enforcement with access to coroner's reports, records indicate that Naomi Haas died of a heart attack caused by mitral valve stenosis. It's believed that the narrowing of the mitral valve was likely the result of an undiagnosed congenital heart defect that worsened over time

• The longest he's ever stayed at one place in Hoenn is about six months
• Struggles between over-cautious self-preservation and a genuine desire to help others
• Not very knowledgeable about political figures or the specifics of conflicts within the region; he really only pays attention to the news for the purpose of figuring out the next place he's going to move on to
• Got into journalism as a result of an interest in people, their lived experiences, and folk stories
• Is fascinated by the paranormal and supernatural on a personal level, but has developed some degree of skepticism after his work as a writer for The Looking Glass
