[attr="class","leavestext"]she was currently recording within a music studio owned by silph co. it was a new song in the works. one that was missing something. but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. as evelyn removed herself from within the booth, she'd come to obtain a glass of refreshments.

she'd been hard at work. she was so focused on her music that she was unaware of Cecilia Brooks's return. little did songbird know, she'd get a surprise. it was because of FERNANDO SILPH that Cecilia Brooks would know where evelyn was. evelyn did not expect to see her nor was unaware of her surprise visit underway. though, it wouldn't be called a 'surprise' if she knew.

she sat upon a burgundy couch. adorning a double breasted checked pinafore skirt, underneath it? a gray, sleeveless top. her hair was placed within a signature ponytail and a black bow. upon her feet were a pair of black, ankle-high wedge booties.

upon hearing the door open, evelyn assumed it was the music technicians returning. but, to her dismay, it was not but another person. to whom could it have been?

She supposes, at some point, she should visit Evelyn and for a change of pace, Cecilia does it sooner rather than later. The music studio is larger than she expects. Something about the size causes the realization that she knows so very little about Evelyn and what it is she does. Her sister sings. She makes fancy songs that people enjoy. It had always seemed a simple concept on paper.

With a small shake of her head, Cecilia carries herself into the building with a raised chin. A flash of her ID brings people to submission; they go from Miss Silph is busy to Right this way, Miss Silph in a matter of seconds.

The door opens. Cecilia is not the one to enter first. A young man stands in the doorway.

Cecilia doesn't see the point in formalities but she lets it happen anyways. Introduction finished, she steps in and closes the door behind her. Her gaze settles on Evelyn, searching the curves of her face, the too familiar black ribbon. Her own hair, by contrast, is a mess of curls and cowlicks.
