Calla’s eyes lit upon the new s’more with obvious interest. She takes the offered half–normally stern expression lighting up in obvious delight. “Oohh, that’s so good!” she blurts, voice muffled by the treat, and her cheeks ballooned like a skwovet’s.

“Okay, okay, you’re right!” she laughs before taking another bite of the s’more. Delight brightens up her face once again. “These are far superior to stove top ones.”[break][break]
But there’s something to be said about sharing the moment with Uri. She’s convinced that the snack would not taste so sweet on her tongue if she were with someone else right now. Maybe it’s not some big trip or event they’re on, but she doesn’t need all of that. Or anything nice, really. She just needs to be around him.[break][break]
Her nose scrunches as he pokes her, and she swats his hand in return, but it’s playful.[break][break]
Then she leans into his side, flopping against him with an airy sigh. “I just don’t know,” she teases, before adding, “but I think I’d be a lot more lost without you than the other way around.”
