TAG WITH @eko
Eko Darling
She scraped the last bit of sand free from her shoes and started picking her way towards the broad side of the sandbar, careful to set each step firmly onto the biggest rocks she could find along the way. She took a moment to appreciate the roll of the ocean waves and soft coos of a happily pre-occupied pidgeot. Even with the sound of the waves, there was a quietness out here on the water that she struggled to find in the city. It was a nice break.
Just as she settled down on a larger rock, she heard a thud, then a screech from above, and then the sound of something struggling across the sandy rocks. She didn’t have time to fully process what was going on before Flowers shot into the sky, careening at whatever flying pokemon was circling above Eko and its lost lunch, with an aerial ace.
The sky won her attention, as Flowers slammed into the offender and chased it from their spit of land. ”The hell?” She grumbled, turning her attention to the ground. Satisfied that the flying pokemon was no longer a threat, Flowers circled back towards Eko and spied the Applin struggling to un-wedge itself from between two rocks. He locked onto this new target just as Eko finally spotted the little pokemon.
The whistling of an Air Slash caused Eko to duck back slightly. ’Woa, woa, woa!’ she waved off Flowers as the Applin took the hit. Flowers would settle down, she knew, but that poor little Applin was going to be struggling after nearly being lunch then slapped with a sonic-wind. She pulled out a pokeball and lobbed it at the pokemon. Better caught than stranded in the middle of the ocean, right?
