[attr="class","giada i”]the anxiety slowly, but surely, passes as mint seems distracted by the fans around the arena. it's good for her, really, that he's not as focused on her... less of a chance for recognition to dawn.

"nice to meet you and good luck!"

she doesn't give her name, only a smile for the rotom phone as it pans toward her for a moment.

and without much hesitation, her alolan meowth begins the match by darting forward to get within range of the abomasnow. once close enough, the smug kitty uses pay day to chuck heavy coins at the abomasnow.

[attr="class","giada i”]the snowstorm gradually gets worse as it envelopes the arena. as time continues to tick by, the alolan meowth gradually takes a little bit of damage.

and while aurora veil lessens the blow from the meowth's coins, the cat still slinks closer to the towering abomasnow.

after a moment, her alolan meowth launches itself at the abomasnow with night slash making its nails long, sharp, and drowned in shadows.

As the NIGHT SLASH moves to hit, it meets iwth something bigger than usual, glimmering rainbow wit hthe dimming shimmer of mega evolution. Straciatella roared in the little Meowth's face before batting it away with a violent WOOD HAMMER.

for the abomasnow has newly mega evolved and a small little cat is further dwarfed in comparison. a moment later, wood hammer slams into the alolan meowth's body and it flies back into the dirt a few feet away.

from her side of the arena, giada begins to frown.

after a moment, the alolan meowth rises to her feet and launches herself back at the mega abomasnow, assurance quick to hit back.

only to fall into the dirt a second later, defeated.

giada lets out a little sigh before shifting forward to collect her exhausted cat. once its safe within her arms, she turns toward her opponent with a small smile.

"congrats - that was a good match!"

she holds the polite mask in place, using her eyepatch to fasten it seamlessly into skin.

"let's do it again sometime, okay?"
