once an aspiring scientist of the region, petra eventually found herself in league with team rocket in order to further those goals. realizing too late that her mission was perverted into something else, she eventually abandoned them entirely to distance herself from the trauma of those countless failed experiments on pokemon (project "? ? ?").[break][break]

hoping that her family name would keep petra safe from retaliation, she also finds that the endless stream of catastrophes may also play a part in keeping them preoccupied. it feels wrong, but she hopes it never ends.[break][break]
